Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomio commented on the possibility of the transfer of Neymar da Silva, the star of Paris Saint-Germain, to the traditional rivals, Real Madrid in the future.
Neymar moved from Barcelona to Paris St Germain last summer in a record deal of 222 million euros. The Brazilian international took advantage of the penalty clause in his contract with the Catalan club.
"Neymar's move to Real Madrid is free in what he does, but I think he has a long-term contract with Saint-Germain," Bartomeo told Catalan Radio.
"If he moves to Real Madrid, he will be our opponent and we will play against him."
"I was surprised by the way he left Barcelona, we have a lawsuit against him, and everything will be clear about this one day."
"We talked about the game, we do not always agree," said Bartomio, speaking to Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.
"We disagreed about the expulsion, but we agreed on Marcelo's right to a penalty. We, as presidents, always try to be friendly."
