Ingredients
one tablespoon vegetable oil
one teaspoon cumin seeds
one teaspoon minced garlic
one teaspoon ginger paste
two medium potatoes
half teaspoon ground turmeric
half teaspoon paprika
one teaspoon ground cumin
half teaspoon garam masala
salt to taste
one pound cauliflower
one teaspoon chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions:
Heat the oil in a medium skillet over medium fire. Mix in the cumin seeds, garlic, and ginger paste. Cook about one minute till garlic is lightly browned. Add the potatoes. Season with turmeric, paprika, cumin, garam masala, and salt. Cover and continue cooking five to seven minutes mixing occasionally.
Mix the cauliflower and cilantro into the saucepan. Reduce fire to low and cover. Mixing occasionally, continue cooking ten minutes, or till potatoes and cauliflower are tender.
