Teriyaki Sauce

Total Cooking Period: 15 Minutes
Ingredients
half cup soy sauce
haf cup mirin
half cup sake
two teaspoons white sugar
quarter teaspoon ginger puree
two teaspoons cornstarch, or as wanted (recommended)
two teaspoons water (recommended)
Instructions:
Take the soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, and ginger puree to a boil in a saucepan. Lessen heat to medium low. For a marinade, eliminate from heat and allow to chill. For a thicker sauce, combine cornstarch and water to form a smooth paste and mix into the mixture; allow to simmer till thickened, about two minutes.
