This surprising mixture is not a cake suitable for children, but for lovers of a good glass of wine and especially chocolate, between a sponge cake and a kind of brownie, this cake is consistent, so it would be perfect to distribute among several guests. Chocolate and wine go hand in hand, this delicious mix is one of the favorite combinations of many wine lovers, chocolate also combines with many ingredients and almost everyone loves it.

Ingredients for a mold of twenty-two centimeters in diameter:

  • 180 ml of red wine
  • 180 g of sugar,
  • 3 tablespoons of pure cocoa powder,
  • 180 g of butter,
  • 120 g of flour,
  • 2 teaspoons of chemical yeast,
  • 4 large eggs at room temperature,
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch,
  • 1 teaspoon of butter to grease the mold.

To soak (optional): 50 ml of rum, 50 ml of water, 100 g of sugar

Preparation:

We will start by greasing a removable mold for cakes, then in a pot that does not stick we heat red wine, cocoa powder, butter and sugar, mix and heat until all the ingredients melt, then remove from heat and let temper, Preheat the oven to 170 degrees with heat up and down. Separate the eggs in egg yolks and egg whites, mount the latter with a blender of rods, in a bowl beat the yolks with the cornstarch and pour into the pot of the mixture of wine, cocoa, sugar and butter, stir with a few rods and bring it back to a boil, cook it a few minutes until it thickens slightly.

From this mixture, separate 150 milliliters that will be used to glaze the cake, add the flour and the yeast to the rest, mix carefully adding the beaten egg whites to the snow, add it to the mold, smoothing the surface and baking for forty minutes. If you like very moist cakes, cook the water, sugar and rum in a pot over a high heat for five minutes and bathe the hot cake just out of the oven, if you do not want it so drunk simply add the glaze over it We had booked and let it cool.
