For all of you who follow me on Isteemit, you know that this was breakfast yesterday… I’m getting this post up a date late (hellooo Bachelor finale was on), but what a way to start the week.
It was a busy weekend, filled with friends and drinks and enjoyable. It was only one of these weekends that seemed to vanish in the blink of an eye. Maybe since it was far too much enjoyment, and perhaps because I spent Sunday asleep due to a too many cocktails in the evening before.By now most of you know exactly how precisely I swear by quick and easy meals. Nothing over-the-top or fancy. That is no exception... that takes about 5 minutes to throw together, which pretty much supplies you no excuse to consume something rotten in the morning (you would wait in line provided that the morning Starbucks, right?)
All right, fine, I'll discuss... though secretly I'm grinning inside. I like when I get him to admit that healthy food ai Not so bad ;)
Simple recipe comprised under- have a great week!
Ingredients
– 1/2 cup uncooked rolled oats
– 1/2 cup almond milk
– 1/2 tsp chia seeds
– 1/2 banana, sliced
– 1/2 Tbsp peanut butter
– chopped nuts, banana slices, and cinnamon for topping
Directions
Heat in the microwave for about two minutes until the oats are soft and cooked.
I like to heat my oatmeal with banana
