Spanish Rice
Recipe Servings: 4
Cooking Period: 40 Minutes
Ingredients
two tablespoons vegetable oil
one cup uncooked white rice
one onion, chopped
half green bell pepper, chopped
twp cups water
one (ten ounce) can diced tomatoes and green chiles
two teaspoons chili powder, or to taste
one teaspoon salt
Directions

Cooking Period:
30 Minutes
Ready In:
40 Minutes
Heat up the oil in a deep skillet over medium heat. Saute rice, onion, and bell pepper till rice is browned and onions are tender.
Blend in water and tomatoes. Season with chili powder and salt. Wrap, and simmer for thirty minutes, or till rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed.
