Hi there!!
How did you spend your weekend? And what about you, everything fine? I'm pretty ok, I have one of those moments when I don't feel like doing anything, just want to hang out and go somewhere new! Maybe I'm just bored, Idk...but right now I'm going to write for you this recipe and then I'll took a walk! cause walking always helps! It has so many benefits, besides the healthy ones for the body! Did you know that walking improves your mood, hapiness, self-esteem and gives you more energy?
But let's talk about this recipe I have for you! As you read in the title, it is about a Beef Soup full of vegetables. One delicious soup! I love soups!! Soups are my comfort food, mostly in the winter! But I enjoy a good soup everytime, no matter the season. Beef soup is popular in Romania, you can find it pretty much in every restaurant. By following this recipe, you can get an authentic taste of this soup.
HERE ARE THE INGREDIENTS FOR THIS BEEF SOUP:
- 2 lbs beef
- 200-300 grams cauliflower (in small bouquets)
- 200-300 grams green beans pods
- 1 pepper
- 2-3 potatos
- 3-4 medium carrots
- one piece of celery root
- 1-2 parsley root
- 1-2 parsnip
- 2 medium onions
- tomatoes juice 500-600 ml
- fresh lovage, parsley, dill
- Water 3-4 liters.
- Salt, pepper, bay leaf
- Optional: lemon, vinegar or borscht, sour cream
INSTRICTIONS:
1. Bring the water to a boil. Add salt, black pepper, bay leaf. When the water starts to boil, add the meat. Reduce the heat to minimun and let to boil for an hour, hour and a half, depends on the meat. You want your meat to be pretty much 80-85% done before adding the other ingredients.
2. Meanwhile, cut the ingredients in small pieces.
3. Add the ingredients to the soup. Boil everything until all veggies are completely done.
4. Add salt, pepper and the fresh parsley, dill, lovage.
5. Optional, you can add lemon juice, vinegar, borscht or sour cream.
Tell me your opinions about this soup! Feel free to leave any comments!
Enjoy your meals, and thank God for it! We are so blessed, don't you think? :)
Hugs and Kisses from Romania,
Yours mIss Deli

Delicious that Vegetable beef Soup, which in Romanian is called "Ciorba". Another recipe that can be made with beef and which I like a lot is broth beef. I cook it this winter and you can see it in the picture below. It's cooking in the same way as in your example, only that the vegetables are cut into quarters or left whole. When it's cooked, squeez it and boils in it, semolina dumplings. Sprinkle with fresh parsley. From vegetables and meat, you can make a very tasty Beouf Salad!
Thanks @didutza for sharing this with us! It sounds really delicious!
Beauiful winter comfort food, I love how you use such a wide variety of vegetables in everyone of your recipes. I also love to walk, walking in nature is therapy for me in so many ways, as you mentioned.
Thank you! I used so many because the recipe requires those veggies. And yes, I completely agree with you! Walking is teraphy! You said it so right! :)

Thanks so much:) you say this to all my recipes (cause you're...kind and supportive), but I know or at least I think for sure this recipe is for your heart cause it has meat in it right? :d
P.S. I really liked your recipe. That with cinnamon and sugarrrr!!
I say it about all your recipes because you are constantly making great looking dishes! Yes the meat looks very good (and so does the loaf of bread on the side) haha but I mean it! This looks awesome.
and thanks! I am a big fan of cinnamon as well :)
Thanks again, Jeff! :)
haha, good to know! we are 2 cinnamon lovers! and God knows how many more in the whole world! I adore cinnamon actually! this is the perfect word for it! I would die for it!! a little exagerating, but Yes. Sometimes, I just put it in my water and drink it. Seriosly! maybe it sounds weird.
Hey @missdeli, I am a curator from the Whaleshares Curation Team. I have selected your post to be presented in a live curation discussion on Monday 2d April. Hey @kotturinn! Thank you so so much! I'll try to be there. Are you kind to tell me what hour the event will begin? Cheers from Romania :)
Now I've seen the hour! Thank you again! I'm so excited!:X
Sorry, I didn't realize I didn't mention the time, I believe it is gonna start at 6 PM EST, it used to be 7 PM, but they changed it. Still waiting on an anouncement post from our host @nikflossus, but I believe it should be 6 pm EST or 1 AM Romanian time :D.
Yup, thanks for the infos:D Hope I could make it and be awake at that time:D
Yeah, it is a pretty late hour in Europe for a Monday, but oh well. Regardless, I plan on making a post afterwards just talking about the posts I chose, you can check that out tomorrow if you miss the show!
Well, its fine for me! I usually dont sleep at 1 pm, unfortunatelly! But maybe I will today. Yes, I will look up for it tomorrow if I wont be on tonight. I'm still curious about it, cause honestly I dont know exactly what 100 Whaleshares vote are...:d I guess I need to to a little research.
Amazing cooking, amazing photographs.
I would enjoy knowing how many calories per serving or per 100ml.
It would be a mix of your nutrition skills and the already proven recipes :D
Hmm...I will think about it, to do on my next recipes. Measure all the ingredients and do the chart. I guess its not to hard.
Anyways, thanks for the advice and everything! :d
With pleasure, you can also style some of your articles toward science. That is something I could see being popular.
Yes, I didnt thought about it cause most of my recipes has many ingredients and I thought it would take some tim to do all the math but I'll try harder:))
I am just giving you insight. It might work it might not.
But it's a popular field.
Yes, I get you! dont worry! thanks for the info/advice, you're kind like always :)
What beautiful and delicious photos! I immediately wanted your soup! :D
Thanks @voronenka! I would send you a portion if I could haha!
Wow! Look taste and yummy! Too bad my mum don't cook with beef. Hmm... wonder if chicken meat compatible with the soup?
Thank you very much @legendchew! Yes, this is ok with chicken but probably the tomatoes juice wont fill in.
Will ask my mum whether she can made it or not. But the taste will be different. Wish to have a taste of your soup. :P
Yes, you're right. The taste will be different. We can say that we already talk about other soup cause the ingredients are different and the taste changed. Thanks, I wish you had it too! cause the taste of our romanian beef soup is sooo good!
I was hoping it was going to be an ordinary weekend for me but things happened. Anyways, I like soup with lots of vegetables. Whenever I make instant Korean noodle spicy soup, I add all the greens I can buy that is available and other vegetables too. That beef soup is perfect for any given day. It looks delicious!
Hey @leeart! Thanks for commenting, Glad you find my soup deliciosly looking haha. What changed in your weekend? it wassomething good or something bad? I also love soups with as much veggies as possible, exactly as you do. I love spicy soup! What ingredients do you use to make the soup spicy?
It was exactly the beginning of the week actually. Something bad. Hopefully everything's going to be okay. The spicy powder comes with the noodle packet itself. However, sometimes I would still add some chopped chili, pepper and ginger. I also add onions, leeks and most of the following if available: spinach, pechay, wombok (Chinese cabbage), carrots, potatoes, passion fruit tops, sweet potato tops and/or chayote tops.
So sorry to hear this! Hope things will turn good for you...I really hope this!sending all my good thoughts:) and Thanks for the info! Sounds perfect your food recipe of spicy soup! thanks again for sharing!

Hey Samantha!Thank you for your support and Thank you for sharing with us your experiences! You were great at the show! I'm so glad to meet you! :)
You are very welcome and also very kind! That was my first time ever doing anything like that. After I got over my initial nerves, I settled in and had fun. I was hoping I didn't talk too much. :D
Glad to meet you too! See you in the Curation Lounge soon!
No way! you talked just enough to be great! I could not do it. Idk if its because I'm pretty shy or because I dont talk English so good as I write. Yes, I'll try to listen the show next time. we'll see! Have a wonderful time:)
Thanks for the feedback! I was asked to fill in a few weeks ago and I freaked out and declined but told the person who asked me that I would be finding the courage for the next time they asked and I did! I am shy about these kind of things too but I just figured why not give it a go. So glad I did! It is a wonderful thing to expand your horizons...you will surprise yourself by accomplishing things you never thought in a million years you would do.
Look forward to seeing you again at the show...I will be on the spectator's side this time. :)
No problem:). Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me:) cheers from Romania (very close to Bulgaria haha)
Romania is on my list. When I have more specific plans I will let you know. I would love to try your soup! ;)
