One of our friend works in the fishing industry and on and off he gets some good variety of fishes for us. Last week he brought us some Lobsters, though they are not my favorite, once in a way I do enjoy having them, specially with a glass of Beer 😍 I prefer Prawns any day to Lobsters, but as I said once in a way it is a treat to have it.
Last night we prepared it grilled in garlic, butter and cheese. It turned out to be yummy.
The most difficult part of preparing the Lobster is the cleaning, and that is also one of the reason I avoid, because it really is a task cleaning them and if not handled carefully you end up with some cuts on your hand as the shell has very pointed edges.
Our friend had got a dozen of them. We are just 2 people at home, it is too much for us, so we gave up a few to some of our other friends and kept half for us. After removing the shell, it is simple to cook them.
Here is the recipe:
For marination ingredients:
Chilli Powder
Garam Masala (powder mix of spices)
Turmeric powder
Salt
Paste of garlic and cumin seeds
Ginger paste
Marinate and leave it overnight for the marination to completely soak up in it.
When it is ready to be grilled, add up some finely chopped fresh garlic and butter on top
I wanted to make it little cheesy, so also put a slice of Cheese on top.
Set it up to grill, around 15 mins on each side. And they are ready to be plated.
After it's grilled and while it's still hot, you can put one more slice of cheese, if you wish to make it more creamier, or add a spoon of butter.
It's so simple right. except for the cleaning part, rest of the process is simple and smooth. And they turned out to be very yummy too 😍

I am yet to taste Lobsters - on my list since long. We don't get it here normally, only some big hotels serve it, may be they bring it. Looks pretty yummy.
Oman has a vast coastline, so seafood is quite popular here and easily available. The prices are almost as good as India and better quality also.

are they expensive?
It depends on the place dear. In the Coastal regions they are not as much expensive as in compared to other places. But yes, the price is on a higher side. Now I get it for free, so all welcome......hehehe
