Today was a busy day for me so when I got home I decided to make something sweet for myself.
As soon as I entered my kitchen I realised there's not much ingredients so I improvised.
The first thing I took were a couple of eggs, whole wheat flour.
From there my imagination continued...
Ingredients:
- Two eggs
- Six tbsp sugar (One egg=3 tbsp)
- Oil-half a mug
- Milk-half a mug
- Whole wheat flour-one mug
- One tsp baking soda
- Cherries (I had some in the freezer, but you can use any other fruit you like)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 200 degrees celsius.
The first thing you need to do is separate the egg yolks from the egg whites.
Next, mix the egg whites with a mixer, slowly add 6 tbsp sugar. (While mixing it you can add a few drops of fresh lemon juice to make it fluffier)
When the egg whites became nice and fluffy, add those egg yolks you put aside.
Add oil and milk...
After mixing it all up, add flour with baking soda. (BTW: You can use any kind of flour, I used whole wheat flour because it's healthier.)

AH finally!! Now, we can move on to buttering a baking pan, so the cake won't stick to it.
Pour it all in that baking pan...
Did you think I would forget cherries, no way! :D
Put it in the oven. After a few minutes you can lower the temperature to 180 degrees celsius.
In about 20 minutes pull out the cake, it should be done. (It all depends on your oven)
If it looks somewhat like this...it's done. ;)
To decorate it, you can put some powdered sugar on top, some fresh fruit, whipped cream etc.
Improvise however you'd like.

Hi @stella98. The photographs and method of your cake recipe are good. For the topic, I think you should consider Fast and Fluffy Cherry Cake. Just make sure that the noun cake is there so that people would know exactly what you are presenting to them. Secondly, reconsider the placement of your tags. In my opinion, #food should come first before recipe. Maybe you should replace #photography or #creativity with #cake . It would be a lot easier for other Steemians, especially those in the #food niche to find your post, when you use the tag first. Keep steeming, dear!
