Healthy Oat Smoothie!
Here’s a quick recipe for a nice, healthy oat and fruit smoothie I have (almost) every morning for my breakfast. This recipe contains a good combination of fast and slow releasing carbohydrates to provide you with the energy required to get you through your morning. Using oats as slow releasing carbohydrates and are in high fibre meal (which is essential for fat loss) and fruits to provide you with that fast acting energy to wake you up and get you going.
Ingredients:
1 Handful of Rolled Porridge Oats
1 Small Handful of Frozen Blueberries or Berries of your choice
1 Medium Banana
2 TBSP of Greek Style Yogurt
1 Small Glass of Unsweetened Almond Milk or Soy Milk
2 Raw Eggs (Optional)
Method:
Throw all ingredients in together and blend thoroughly.
Tip: Rinse everything immediately after use to ensure easy clean up.
