Venison Teriyaki Sandwich
Ingredients
1 lb Venison - cut into 3/4" chunks
1 cup Beef Broth
3/4 cup Teriyaki Sauce
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
3 Cloves Garlic - Crushed
1/2 cup Sliced Fresh Mushrooms
1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 Small Sweet Onion (1/2 cup Slivered)
1 Small Green Pepper (1/2 cup Slivered)
Directions
1-Sauté Venison in 1/4 cup of the beef broth and 1/4 cup of the Teriaki Sauce.
2-Combine 3/4 cup Beef Broth with 1/2 cup Teriyaki Sauce in a small sauce pot, add Brown Sugar and garlic until it begins to boil and the Sugar is dissolved.
3-Put the Venison into the crock pot with the sliced mushrooms and pour the hot broth over it, add the Worcestershire sauce.
4-Cook for about 4-1/2 hours, add peppers and onions. Stir and let warm for 1/2 hour.
5-This can be served on rolls or your favorite rice, Beef can be substituted for the venison.
