Buttery, garlicky, just the smell of these roasting in the oven is enough to make you want to scarf them down. Simple in ingredients, but anything but simple in flavor. These yummy little morsels are a perfect side dish to accompany almost any entree. Or serve them atop some mashed potatoes or on a pile of grains. However you eat them, enjoy!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups baby portobello or cremini mushrooms, halved
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat oven to 400℉. In small skillet over medium low, melt butter. Add garlic to butter and cook for 1 minute. Set aside.
- In small baking dish, place the halved mushrooms. Pour the garlic and butter over the mushrooms and stir.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes.
That... looks... amazing. Garlic and mushrooms are the two best things.
