Beta Carotene is important because it will help radiate skin, build strong nails, hair; and also to boost overall immunity to fight against harmful radicals created in our body.
Beta Carotene is essentially the pigmented orange color that can come in variety of fruits and vegetable. Without further ado, try this easy recipe that will help with your busy schedule.
Serves: 4
Preparation: 15 mins
Cooking Time: 40 mins
Necessary Ingredients:
1 kg of pumpkin (de-seeded & peeled)
2 medium sized onions-white
3 cloves of garlic
hint of parsley
1 tsp of crushed black pepper
Salt to taste
700 ml of chicken broth
3 tbsp of half, half cream
2 tbsp of olive oil
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350 F. While the oven preheats, cut the pumpkin into cubes along with the onions. Soon after, in a bowl, add the pumpkin, onions, oil, hint of salt, pepper, and parsley. Now, mix the ingredients.
Take the mixed ingredients on to the baking pan that has a parchment paper on top, and bake the product for approximately 30 minutes, or until slightly tender.
Once the baking time is complete, add the baked products into a cooking pot, along with the chicken broth. Bring it to a boil, and let it simmer for a few minutes.
When the cooking time is complete, use a blender to blend all the ingredients.
Once the blending is complete, add the cream, and mix it.
Make sure to add salt and pepper to your own liking! If you want the soup to be more creamier, add more cream!
