Your chicken BBQ looks very delicious. It's a good idea that you have modified it to make it rather simple so that we can try it easily.
As far as I can notice from your old dishes or this dish, you often used "Thai" ingredients for your cooking. That's really great and I'm very happy about this. ^_^
For a spicy lover, like me (and you!), I'll add "2 tablespoons sriracha sauce", for sure.... ;))
Thanks so much for sharing your recipe with us. ;)
Hahaha...Thai products are much easier to find here in Germany. Surely it doesn't give the exactly same taste like sauces commonly used in the country the recipe originated from. But after trying it out for few times you'd finally get the sense how to modify the recipe and find the correct measure of the other ingredients to re-create the original taste despite using alternative products.
Because such ready made sauce are basically made of (more or less) the same main ingredients, only with slightly different composition. One is sweeter, saltier or more sour than others, so all we need is just adjustment, but that would first need some trial and error lol.
Oh! I'm very glad to know that "Thai products are much easier to find in Germany". If I don't know you, I may think you are Thai..... Haha! ;D
In the meantime, you are my inspiration for cooking as well. I love that you can cook various kinds of dishes; local and national dishes, etc. And you cooked them with your own styles; "you have the sense how to modify the recipe". That's really great!
Besides, I also love the way you decorated the dishes. They were beautiful and looked yummy and that always made me feel hungry.... Haha! ;)))
