Good night housewives wherever you are, hopefully in good health and fresh conditions. Tonight I want to share how to make a PEYEK crispy.
How to Make Peyek and Savory Peanuts? Making PEYEK requires spices to be processed first so that the taste is tasty and the crisp taste. Peyek is a typical Indonesian food that is often eaten as a friend of rice substitute crackers. Peyek also sometimes used as a snack that is eaten away or accompanying soup, soup, meatballs, pecel and so forth. PEYEK crispy makes eating more enjoyable.
Here is the recipe of the PEYEK :
Ingredients and spices :
- ½ kg peanut
- 4 pcs candlenuts
- 4 cloves garlic
- 350 grams of rice flour
- ½ tablespoon tapioca flour
- 250 cc coconut milk
- 100 cc mineral water
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water whiting (optional)
- 5 orange leaves, thinly sliced
- Salt to taste
- Oil
How to cook :
- Mix the chicken eggs, garlic, salt, pecan, coriander powder and water whiting. Blend the spices with a blender.
- Mix peanuts, rice flour, tapioca flour, finely spiced, water, coconut milk and orange leaves slices. Stir well until evenly distributed.
- Make sure peanuts are really clean and hygienic from the ground so that the results obtained to be better and guaranteed.
- Heat the cooking oil. Enter the dough on a little bit at a time. Starting from the edge of the frying pan to form a thin layer. Fry over medium heat until browned. Lift, then drain.
- Peyek is ready to serve with other dishes at our table and ready to eat.
If you look at the recipe it seems the spices are used very much, but actually not hard to get because they are all standard kitchen spices only. A little difficult is to keep the fried dough as thin as possible. Dough thick when fried may not mature middle. If you want more variety, you can replace peanuts with anchovy, shrimp or soybeans. How to Make Crunchy and savory Peyek is very easy and very suitable to be an appealing companion. Please try the recipe of the peyek. Good luck.
