This is the last recipe for our training, and I was so excited for I'm always dreaming to bake a cake. This Mocha Swiss Cake has a butter icing filling in it which makes it yummier!
As usual, before we start to bake, Ms. Anna teach us first the process and I'll gonna share it with you guys.
First step in making a Mocha Swiss Roll Cake is the Batter Combine. We need the following ingredients:
1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
1 and 1/2 Tsp Baking powder
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Cup White Sugar
2 Tsp Coffee
4 Egg Yolks
1/2 Cup Water
1/2 Tsp Vanilla
1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
Here's the procedures:
- Add dry ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix (flour, baking powder, salt, white sugar and coffee). Make a well at the center.
- Put egg yolks, water, vanilla and oil at the well.
- Mix all together.

2nd step is to prepare the ingredients for the meringues. We need:
4 egg white
1/2 Cup white sugar
Procedure:
- Using the electric mixer, mix the egg white until it became fluffy or foamy.
- Add gradually the white sugar until it is stiff.
- Add the batter combined.
The last step is the butter icing. We need:
1 Bar butter
2 Egg whites
1/4 Cup white sugar
Procedure:
- In a bowl, beat the egg white using wire whisk until the big bubbles achieve. Add white sugar and transfer to the double boiler. Continue mixing until you achieve the bubbly texture.
- Transfer to another bowl then continue mixing until soft peak. Add the cubed butter.
Bake for 15 minutes
