Recuerdo muchas veces en que entre al buscador de Google preguntando sobre opciones para generar dinero por internet que no tuvieran que ver con algo ilícito/ baja moral y que fuera lo suficientemente fácil de comprender obteniendo resultados negativos fuera de mi capacidad para entender... He de confesar que después de cada búsqueda fallida terminaba ofuscada y derrotada seguida por un pensamiento pesimista como "sigues perdiendo el tiempo", puedo asegurarte querido lector que en la ilusión de mi yo adolescente me veía haciendo cosas grandiosas que llenarían mi alma así que enfrentarme a la realidad era bastante devastador y caía en un espiral de decepción y devastación, diciéndome a mi misma que con 20 años debía estar haciendo algo importante con mi vida como estudiar, viajar, emprender en algo ingenioso que no se le haya ocurrido a nadie y que me diera lo suficiente para vivir y no solo sobrevivir con mi empleo de mesera.
En mi opinión el camino para encontrarse a si mismo es bien curioso y agotador; lidiar con la familia, los estudios o con el trabajo puede ser toda una odisea pero siempre encontraras la forma de tener espacio para huir o esconderte de los problemas externos que se van presentando pero jamás podrás huir de ti y tus pensamientos que parecen no acoplarse con el resto de tu ser y esa si que es una fuerte batalla.
A veces creamos grandes expectativas sobre algo de lo que creemos querer hacer, quizás es el sistema que intenta quebrarnos para así moldearnos a su manera, pero terminamos convenciéndonos de que será grandioso cuando lleguemos a ese soñado lugar que arreglara todos nuestros problemas y cuando estamos en ese punto nos toma por sorpresa la desilusión de no identificarnos con lo que creíamos, era la solución a nuestra búsqueda, entonces ¿Cómo saber lo que si queremos hacer?
Después de un largo tiempo de sumergirme en la auto lamentación de mi pobre ser, entendí que el tiempo aunque valioso es, no puedo controlar, así como no puedo controlar el proceso para crecer. Comprendí que no se trata de ser grandioso para el mundo sino para uno mismo, no importa lo insignificante que parezca... Y así es como mi yo de 15 años y mi yo de 24 años comenzamos una tregua.
Me llamo Elaine y he llegado aquí por recomendación de mi padre quien me animó a probar con este mundo con el que se siente bastante cómodo. He de confesar que me tomó tiempo encontrar la forma de presentarme en esta comunidad puesto que anteriormente solo había escrito exclusivamente para mí pero la reconciliación con mi pequeña Elaine conlleva pequeños pasitos para descubrir lo que es para nosotras.

I remember many times when I entered the Google search engine asking about options to generate money online that did not have to do with something illicit / low moral and that was easy enough to understand obtaining negative results beyond my ability to understand ... to confess that after each failed search I ended up dazed and defeated followed by a pessimistic thought like "you keep wasting time", I can assure you dear reader that in the illusion of my adolescent self I saw myself doing great things that would fill my soul so I faced The reality was quite devastating and I fell into a spiral of disappointment and devastation, telling myself that at the age of 20 I should be doing something important with my life such as studying, traveling, undertaking something ingenious that no one thought of and that give me enough to live and not just survive with my job as a waitress.
In my opinion the way to find oneself is very curious and exhausting; Dealing with family, studies or work can be quite an odyssey but you will always find a way to have space to flee or hide from the external problems that arise but you will never be able to flee from yourself and your thoughts that seem not to be coupled with the rest of your being and that if that is a strong battle.
Sometimes we create high expectations about something we think we want to do, perhaps it is the system that tries to break us in order to mold us in its own way, but we end up convincing ourselves that it will be great when we get to that dream place that will fix all our problems and when we are in that point takes us by surprise the disappointment of not identifying with what we believed, it was the solution to our search, so how do we know what if we want to do?
After a long time of immersing myself in the self-lamentation of my poor being, I understood that time, although valuable, I cannot control, just as I cannot control the process to grow. I understood that it is not about being great for the world but for oneself, no matter how insignificant it may seem ... And this is how my 15-year-old self and my 24-year-old self began a truce.
