Diesel announces in a press release the start of the Red Tag Project. Behind it lies a digital platform that allows internationally influential designer Capsule collections to be developed exclusively by selected retailers worldwide.
The Diesel Red Tag Project was launched, the company said, "to promote a unique dialogue and interaction between diesel and the fashion industry." The focus of the project is on denim and sportswear.
The first chapter of the Red Tag project will feature Shayne Oliver, a former designer at legendary New York label Hood By Air, who recently presented a sportswear collection for Helmut Lang.
Shayne Oliver's collection is said to consist of a variety of looks, including cropped and plaid jackets and unconventional denim cuts. The parts are marked for the first time by a red Diesel logo.
"This is a dynamic moment for diesel," says Renzo Rosso, founder of Diesel. "We are working on a number of global initiatives, including the most ground-breaking and radical international designers like Shayne. The new generations are passionate about beautiful products that have a soul and speak the language of today. "Shayne Oliver on the collaboration:" I love the heritage of denim and its American roots as well as the Italian core of Diesel. This capsule collection is truly the language of Renzo, the brand founder. "
Each collection created as part of the initiative is created by Tomorrow London Ltd. curated and distributed, the fashion platform that specializes in advising innovative brands.
