Former Reddit CEO: Popular pro-Trump forum should be banned

"The Donald" is very popular these days. No, we are not referring to the President's poll ratings. Instead, this is a subreddit that one of the more active and popular ones on Reddit.

The former CEO of Reddit feels that the subreddit should be banned. Even present management feels it violates Reddit's term of service on many different levels. Racism is certainly grounds for the group being taken down.

Why does the subreddit still operate?

Employees are afraid of upsetting such a large group of users. Like any business, it is not about to turn away a group that drives such a large volume of traffic.

Many social media sites came under attack for the banning of conservative groups. Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube were all accused of censoring right wing groups. Reddit, according to this story, would join the list if it had anything to say about it.

It looks like the only way to get off the censor list is to have such a large volume of traffic that it cannot get rid of a group.
