Nah, I don't think you can make a change this way. Crypto is deeply embedded into the philosophy of Steem. It naturally attracts "cryptonauts" because outsiders misinterpret the way the site works quite easily.
You are viewing a single comment's thread from:
Then it will never become what it can become. It's really that simple. Steemit could be absolutely massive when it fully launches, but not if it's almost 90% bombarded by cryptocurrency posts
Sadly it's not something you can easily change.
Then you clearly don't know how SEO, algorithms and marketing works. You get even as little as 100 different subjects on Steemit of articles that have comments and interactions then it will be seen by completely new people across the planet when they Google search for anything similar.
This is why most of Reddit's millions of visitors are not actually heading to Reddit when they come across the website.
Yes I do. I just don't want to be over-obsessed with it.
Steemit has an Alexa Page Rank moving between 2000 and 2200 for a while now. That's a steady achievement if you ask me, and networking effect works anyway.
Also, there are topics where it's harder to break into, e.g. some people may not like seeing "new" filled with so many posts from Indonesia and India.
Come back to this post in 18 months and we'll see who got it right haha - Steemit has crazy potential, that's something we have to agree on
I'll be interested, definitely.
