Sneaky move. People for a long time have said that because Reddit is open source it can be trusted, as far as fair voting and such. The fact that the base code is open, means only that you can host it yourself. There is absolutely no way to tell that Reddit is running off the same source code, they don't have to publish exactly the same version as they are running.
