Yet another reminder that we need to discard the private ownership model for 'social media'. I vow to come on steemit more often, if you all vow to stop obsessing about the money making opportunity or whatever. What is this, a pyramid scheme? Steemit should be about communication, pure and simple. Not just self enrichment!
We can't even completely blame the reddit admins. They are just doing their jobs. It's the economic model that is the problem, something that people here are WAY ahead on. I really will try to peruse the steemit more often. Sincerely, sweetholymosiah
Much bigger than many think. Reddit is not only private, but it is also a social engineering site, part and parcel to Facebook, Twitter, etc. They not only delete GreatAwakening, but they also deleted 19 or so other subreddits that were connected. Now, think logically, how could they have done that if the reason for deleting GreatAwakening if the reason was inciting violence? All boards at the same time were inciting violence?
I had been there since its inception, as well as the board that preceded it (CalmBeforeTheStorm), which was also deleted.
They want to own all "social media", everything is next. And I'm sure they are creating accounts to interfere with Steemit, Voat, Gab, etc.
But we have it all, so they are just giving us more evidence for the Grand Takedown. Oh, what a nice forum name...
