Two men were shot dead in May Pen, Clarendon during an early morning assault by shooters on Monday.
The perished have been distinguished as Craig Smith, 41 years of age of Chateau District Clarendon, and Bonito Williams o/c "Rabbit", a 61-year-old St Elizabeth inhabitant.
The homicides bring to three the quantity of people killed in the area in 24 hours, and to an aggregate of four the quantity of people killed in the ward since the beginning of the year, police sources revealed to Loop News.
Reports are that about 5:42 am, inhabitants heard blasts in a segment of the Bird's Hill people group and alarmed the police.
A group of examiners later showed up and during an inquiry, the dead bodiesof two men were found.
Officials are still at the area testing the scene.
In another occurrence on Sunday, another man was fired dead by shooters in the Hayes segment of the ward.
The unfortunate casualty in that assault has been recognized as Stephano Frank, generally called 'Yellow', a 35-year-old, machine administrator
Reports are that about 7.15 pm, Frank was remaining outside his entryway in Newtown Phase II, Hayes in Clarendon when shooters on board an engine vehicle drove up and opened fire - hitting him a few times.
The men at that point fled the scene. Candid was taken to clinic by police where he was articulated dead.
Police said there is no sign that the two episodes were connected.
