Excellent article! I come from a Christian background also and did not believe in reincarnation. However the evidence is overwhelming. I also found that reincarnation is actually taught in the bible too.
With the work of Dr. Ian Stephenson, he did the thousands of scientific studies of the little children you speak of. Also the work of Dr Micheal Newton among others there is no denying reincarnation IMO.
Couple that with the fact that it makes many things in the Scriptures that don't seem to make sense make perfect sense. At the same time it shows the tender mercies of a loving creator who has a plan to save all his children since that is his stated mission 1 Timothy 2:4. Yet many Christians don't think he is capable of carrying out his mission without violating free will even though they believe him to be omnipotent. Figure that one out lol.
People who think that evil spirits planted memories in the children have no basis for this in scripture. In fact little children are not subject to the so called "devils" according to scriptures. For those types there is a devil under every rock it seems.
Also even evil spirits don't know all the details of every life neither could they, they are damned which means their progress is stopped just like a damn is used to stop water from flowing. They are very limited in what they can do. In fact they cannot influence people in the flesh unless one allows it.
Here is a great series of articles that shows reincarnation taught in the bible for those interested. http://www.freeread.com/reincarnation-and-the-bible-part-1/
Thank you for your comment. I'm perfectly in agreement with you!
