Marriage A Sacred Union: Questions that needs to be answered before marrying your partner!!

Marriage is a beautiful union, that every man and woman looks forward to. It comes with a special and wild ectasy, when finally a man or a woman is tying the knot with his or her partner after months or years of dating and courtship.

But there's always a "But" before these "sacred union" is made a reality. A dream of a fairytale wedding and living happily ever after, can be the dreams of both partners, but these dreams can be marred by the failure to really know your partner.

It will surely be wise indulging in a heart-to-heart conversations, but no man or woman wants to marry his or her partner without knowing who they really are.

Which really, brings us to the,
RELEVANT QUESTIONS TO KNOW BEFORE CONCUR

  1. How Well Do You Know His/Her Story:
    How well do you know your man or lady you are about getting married to and that you are willing to commit the rest of your life to? How well do you know her or she? Is he or she an open book or a mystery man or lady?!

    You should have concrete knowledge of your partners background and family. Like it or not each family will surely play a major role in your marriage.
    Many marriages have ended up being damaged due to problems in the family.

  2. Is His Or Her Plans Open To You?
    It's very important to know some of the plans your partner has for his or her future, since you are going to be in it and his or her choices would affect both partners.
    Endeavor to find out what your partner's goals are, ambitions and dreams, where he or she would love to be in the next decade.

How many kids you guys plan to have and when he or she expects his or her career to be.

  1. Ethics, Ideals And Principles: -are they favourable to both partners
    Getting to know your partners standpoint on issues and his or her principles goes a long way in making you tolerate your partner in the long run.
    No two people are the same, so there are some things you and your partner will differ on. It's very much okay, as long as you are able to find common ground on these things, and come to the acceptance of each others view points.

  2. Does He or She Has Any Health Issues?
    Like it's said, marriage is a beauty, but doesn't need to be rushed no matter how long both partners has loved, dated and courted each other.
    You should know your partners well-being and state of health. Knowing your partner's genotype, blood group or even whether his family has any history of complications that might affect your children.

  3. Any Blast From The Past:
    It's also very advisable to know your partners past. Find out, if your partner has had any toxic relationships and if there will be any surprises, such as love-child in the future.
    It is also important that you clear the air in any significant experience that they might have had in their past.

  4. What Does He Or She Believes In
    It's important that you find out what your partner stands for when it comes to religion and make sure you find a common ground in case of any differences as it might end up affecting your relationship in the future, particularly if and when you have children.

Love is a beauty and it encompasses trust, tolerance, adaptability, companionship and above all forgiveness.
