COMMUNICATION
Hello everyone it is Thursday again and I welcome you to another motivating edition on relationship matters,last week was great and am sure today is going to be better, we have another interesting topic today and it is communication.
What is communication?
It is the transfer of information from one person to another. In relationships communication is a process where you can express yourself freely to your partner it gives you the opportunity to tell him or her what you want and need from them and the way you feel too,the act of communication does not only help you to meet your needs but it also creates a connection in your relationship.
In some relationship today they don't communicate because they don't feel the need to,some would say it is boring what do we want to be talking about.in a relationship you are meant to be everything to each other, friends, lovers companion e.t.c.being best of friends is actually the best medicine for anyone who wants a healthy relationship, because you would be free to express yourselfs to one another,no secrets and it builds trust, you are honest and truthful to your partners. Talk to your partner no matter how well you know and love each other you can never read your partners mind.we need to communicate always to avoid misunderstandings, if your partner is going astray or doing things that you don't like voice it out don't keep it bottled up inside you because you would be hurting and this could trigger anger and resentment towards your partner,when communicating let the message that you are passing be clear in order for your partner to understand what you are saying,when you are ready to talk to your partner think well about what you want to say before saying it, let your message be clear and concise,talk about what you want from them and your needs too,be careful on the tone on which you use to speak,always appreciate and admire each other share positive feelings have it in mind that no relationship is perfect you must have issues sometimes and you can't always agree on the same thing or else you sit down and talk about it endeavour to listen, a good listener can encourage their partner to talk to them freely and you can also improve your communication by;

Agreeing on something's with your partner.
Intimacy be intimate not just the sex it could be taking baths together giving massages and talking about your future with each other.
Talk about the things that always cause misunderstandings and try to work together as a team in overcoming them.
Things that brightens the relationship that makes you both happy.
Things you stopped talking about and why
Would you want your communication to be different from the way it is?learn to understand one another don't judge yourself because no one is above mistakes and avoid jumping into conclusions forget about the past misunderstandings and never bring them up,if you had a quarrel in the past let it be forgotten and you can actually talk about what happened if you wish to and settle amicably but if you can't seem to improve the communication In your relationship consider talking to a relationship counselor.
