So while in college/university most of us where taught SWOT ANALYSIS , but mainly in relation to business. Permit me to apply this same tool here to relationships. Now, I'm not saying this is a formula for a perfect relationship but I believe it will serve as a guide to achieving your goals in a relationship....
Meaning Of S.W.O.T
- S = Strength
- W = Weakness
- O = Opportunity
- T = Threat
strength
There are so many things that one could count as strength 💪💪 in a relationship. I will name a few; ability to listen, good cook, fun personality, creativity, self discipline, education, good physique etc. These are good examples of qualities your partner will see in you and won't want to let go. Ask yourself, which of these do I posses ? There you go, we are making progress already ✌✌✌✌
Weakness
We all have our flaws. One can be hot tempered, a bad kisser, ill-mannered, a snorer, smoker, broke or even lack of experience. The good thing about all these is that they can be fixed,right?
Opportunity
There will be opportunities to take your relationship to the next level 💏💏, grab it! Invitation to family dinner, see a movie together, you can even fast and pray together YES!! They're called opportunities because you don't get to do such things with them frequently, so I employ you to always make good use of such chances.
Threats
Still keeping in touch with your ex constantly? What are you trying to find out? If they learned new styles of doing the thing ? 🙊🙊🙊🙊🙊 LOL. But seriously, why is your phone always locked? Don't you think these are signals you're giving your partner and they perceive it to be a threat in the relationship? Keeping too much of the opposite sex as friends is also a threat, especially if your partner isn't comfortable with it. Eliminate these threats and make them feel comfortable.
