Definition of the Complete Qurban - Every 10 Dzul Hijjah, all Muslims who do not perform the Hajj celebrate the Eid al-Adha. On that day, Muslims are desperate to sacrifice where they slaughtered qurban animals and then distributed to all Muslims in an area. Then what is the actual Qurban? Below will be explained in full.
Qurban comes from Arabic, "Qurban" which means close (قربان). The sacrifice in Islam is also called al-udhhiyyah and adh-dhahiyyah which means animal slaughter, such as camel, cow (buffalo), and goat slaughtered on the feast of Eid al-Adha and tasyriq days as taqarrub form or closer to God.
The Sacred Scheme is Dissari'atkannya
Allah Almighty has prescribed the sacrifice with His word, "Verily We have granted unto you many blessings. So pray for thy Lord, and sacrifice. Verily those who hate you are the one who is cut off. "(Al-Kautsar: 1- 3).
"And We have made for you the camels as God's gift. You have much good from him, then call the name of God when you slaughter it. "(Al-Hajj: 36).
The virtue of Sacrifice
From Aisha ra, the Prophet said, "There is no deed done by man on the feast of the Sacrifice that Allah loves more than the slaughter of the sacrificial animal. Indeed, the sacrificial animal will come on the Day of Resurrection along with its horns, its feathers, and its nails. And verily before the blood of the Sacrifice touches the ground, he (the reward) has been received by Allah, then prosper all of you with (the reward) of the Sacrifice. "(HR Tirmidhi).
The Law of Sacrifice
The worship of the sacrifice of sunnah muakkadah (sunnah is highly recommended). For the person who is able to do so then he leaves it, then he is punished makruh. This is based on a hadith narrated by Bukhari and Muslim that the Prophet never sacrificed with two goats kibasy which are both white and blackish horned. He himself slaughtered the sacrifice, and recited the name of Allah and bertakbir (cutting time).
From Umm Salamah ra, the Prophet said, "And if you have seen the moon (date) of the month of Dhul Hijjah, and one of you wants to sacrifice, let him let his hair and his nails." Muslim
The meaning of the Prophet's saying, "to make sacrifices" is the proposition that this sacrifice of sunnah is not obligatory.
It was narrated from Abu Bakr and Umar that both of them had never made sacrifices for their families, because both were afraid if the matter of the sacrifice was considered obligatory.
Wisdom of Sacrifice
The sacrifice of the sacrifice of Allah to remember the history of Eid al-Adha itself experienced by Prophet Ibrahim and as an attempt to provide convenience on the day of Id, as mentioned by the Messenger of Allah, "Those days are none other than the days to eat and drink as well dhikr to Allah Azza wa Jalla. "
