"And I heard one as the voice of a great multitude, as of many waters, and as of loud thunders, saying, Hallelujah: for the Lord our God the Almighty reigneth." Revelation 19.6

Should not we, as Christians, be on our way to this eternal glory, to take as an example what in heaven deserves so much commitment and so much time? We totally neglect praise and thanksgiving to our Lord! If the angels' most important task is to praise God, there must be a very important reason for it. If heaven deems it important enough that God is praised day and night by cherubim, it must have powerful consequences (cf. Rev. 4: 4-11). Let us examine the matter concretely in this way: if the most important task of the heavenly armies is to praise God, logically the chief task of men should also be worship, praise, and thanksgiving to the Lord. As we praise and adore the Lord, we are transformed step by step from glory to glory in the likeness of the everlasting God. By this I mean that worship is the most significant activity; it gives God the condition to reach the highest goal of the Universe, which is to lead many sons and daughters to glory.
