"In order that we may be to the praise of his glory, we who hope in Christ beforehand." Ephesians 1:12

When we say that we should be something to praise the Lord's glory, we step on a very careless ground in the Church of Jesus. Thinking in this direction, come the words that the Lord said at the end of His journey here on earth: "I have given you the glory that you have given me, that they may be one as we are." God the Lord predestined us in Jesus Christ to be something to the praise of His glory. Through the prophet Isaiah, He expresses it to each one of us personally: "You shall be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord ..." If we are actually dead with Christ, we are able to penetrate the unlimited depth and breadth of the exalted person of the eternal God. In this position we are shifted to the eternal spheres of joy, and this praise and grace saves us from any depression and grief, strengthens our faltering knees, and gives the Lord the opportunity to set our feet on the Rock, which does not tremble or waver. So we serve for the praise of His glory, for praise and gratitude are the highest expression of faith.
