"Let each of us please his neighbor in what is good for edification." Romans 15:2
Here we have a third principle of the nature of Jesus. Notice what is good, see what is holy, what is eternal in your neighbor, and behave before it accordingly. In a nutshell: being erased, canceling oneself, in a good way, means stimulating the other for good and for ever increasing growth.
And this is the fourth principle: the willingness to carry bales. "Take one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." But where do problems and areas of friction arise in your relationship with others? Only in the fact that you want to receive instead of giving. You expect something from your neighbor while he expects something from you. You want to receive love from him as he seeks a manifestation of the love of Jesus Christ in your life. Now think about how you could ease the life of your neighbor in your day to day life. "Imagine!" You say, "I'm already overwhelmed by my own burden!" Then look to Jesus and take hold of His nature! In this way, you will be able to help take the burdens of others and at the same time you will be blessed. Jesus gave. He always gave. He gave it all. He gave His life. He took our burdens. He bore our sins. He carries you to old age, until you have very white hair!
