"... As the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many." Matthew 20:28
The fifth principle of the nature of Jesus is holy service to others. "Be ye first servants of one another for love." Jesus himself is the source. He loved us so much! The greatest worship of God is the surrender of one's life. To serve the Lord means to follow the most humble way, to expect no recognition, no reward, no thanks, but simply to serve, because Jesus served you. That is to serve victoriously!
Let's look at the sixth principle: "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." Have you forgiven your neighbor with all your heart, just as the Lord has forgiven you? I do not doubt that they hurt you, that they ignored you, that you were left out. Have you forgiven from the heart? What a blessed atmosphere produces sincere and pure friendship! She was present when Jesus was the guest of Lazarus, Martha and Mary, and Mary anointed Jesus' feet with a precious perfume: "... and the whole house was filled with the ointment of the balm." When someone enters your home, you can see if this glorious scent of friendly friendship fills your home!
