"For by his divine power we have been given all things that lead to life and godliness, through the full knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and virtue." 2 Peter 1.3
Through his steadfast walk with God, Enoch learned to get to know Him better and better, and in this way became steadfast in the Lord. Enoch went everywhere with his God. In the field, the Lord was with him! In the home, the Lord was with him! During the visits, the Lord was at his side! The more perseveringly we walk with God, the more we recognize Him and the more we are enabled to walk with Him without hesitation. Enoch never saw God, but nevertheless settled on Him as if he saw Him. One day, suddenly, it was as if a hand were extended to him and a voice said to him, "Enoch, come, it's time ..." - and at that very moment he was already in the presence of the Lord, and, with indescribable joy, can see the One with whom he had walked so long. The Bible simply says, "... it was not found, for God had translated it." This phrase shows that, apparently, there was an anxious search for Enoch, but he was gone! How was the rapture of Enoch possible? This is the answer: he lived and walked with God. For three hundred years, he remained in sanctification, remained in love, persevered in prayer, and for this was a good testimony to the love of God.
