The third highest ranking Catholic's karma trail continues....
Cardinal George Pell has now hired top criminal barrister Robert Richter, QC, to help defend him on charges of historical sexual offences. Robert Richter was notably the legal defence for Mick Gatto, one of the Melbourne underworld scum of the 90's.
Pell, on Thursday told journalists at the Vatican Press Office he was looking forward to having his day in court after a two-year investigation, "leaks to the media" and "relentless character assassination".
Details of the offences have not yet been released.
Cardinal Pell said the laying of charges had strengthened his resolve to prove his innocence.
Why does this man not put his faith in God? Why engage a legal counsel to the underworld when you have spent a lifetime assuring others that the Lord has their back?
If his God has any form, then Pell has mentioned enough times that he will be "delivered from evil, for thy is the kingdom.... etc etc"?

I await to see what happens tomorrow. I've got $10 that Pell will mysteriously become too sick to travel, aka Christopher Skase.
At least Skase had the good sense to validating his sickness by falling off the perch.

It's a grave sin to damage someone's name unjustly... but a much worse one to do so to a priest or other cleric.
Anyone can accuse anybody of anything, but not ALL who are accused are actually guilty.
Again... no accusation of guilt, but a shitload of anecdotal evidence to prove me wrong...
