A common sense approach or look into church and religion

If you are a follower of Jesus
I would like to know why would you go to church?

Is it habit Or fear or do you like the way it makes you feel. I'm sure it has very little to do with Jesus

Here is today's question or observation

Does your Church lock the doors at night and does your Pastor or Priest have a security guard or guards

If so I would suggest you do a 180 and vacate the premises

I am amazed at how Church will teach there is no fear in God
Yet they display such a lack of faith by locking the doors.

Of the Church is truly Gods dwelling
What's the purpose of locks.
Surely God can protect his own

Jesus told his followers to put down their swords on the day of his arrest.
I think we can all agree how important Jesus was to the Christian movement!

So may I ask if a pastor truly believes he is doing God's bidding and following Jesus
What's the purpose of a security team??
Would it not be the best way to go
Laying your life down in service of the Lord.

One could assume a pastor who thinks so highly of himself or of his importance to the movement that he needs security!!

He probably missed a few things in seminary or the Bible

Or maybe not

Matthew 7 comes to mind here

Whose kingdom is being protected

Yours or His

I pretty sure the one who conquered all doesn't need a security team or any dead bolts.
