By the grace of God we have been made children of God in a new creation in Christ, created for good works in the present time.
And he gave life to you, when you were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked, according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience, 3 among whom we also all once lived in the lusts of our flesh, doing the will of the flesh and of the thoughts, and were by nature children of wrath, just like the rest. 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us, 5 even when we were dead in sins, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together with him, and also He made us sit in the heavenly places with Christ Jesus,
Ephesians 2:1-6
Part of the scriptures we find written that the wages of sin is death, there is no middle ground, the word is clear and forceful. But the text that we have seen today, the apostle Paul teaches the Ephesians and together with us also that this debt of sin is already fully paid by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23
We find that the apostle Paul also says that we were dead in our trespasses and sins, it is likely that we never realized this but still the word teaches us that this was our condition, far from God as well as the prodigal son, but also like the father of the prodigal son he does not allow us to be like this forever. We do not have that in the text of Ephesians we read in verse four that says: "but God close quotes this is something forceful to our ears and God speaks to us from the mercy and love that characterizes him, God has given us life together with his son Jesus Christ, just as he resurrected his son, he has also resurrected us into a new life in him, this life so that today we can live in it for eternity, we have been resurrected and redeemed from sin once and for all.
This reality that Paul tells us about what we have already experienced or that some people can experience, is a reality that once lived we can contemplate all things differently understanding that sin leads to death while Jesus Christ to glorious freedom, we can make the decision to act in a different way than the world acts when we are for the life of Christ, let us remember that the same Lord said that the kingdom of God was near and not only spoke of the future but that He was talking about a present transformation, and that is fulfilled from the very moment we receive Jesus Christ as the only and sufficient Savior, when we are resurrected to a new life, when we are born again by grace through faith.
God allows us to become his wonderful and most famous masterpiece and all the best that God has been prepared today for us to enjoy in this present life and in the future life, do you accept the challenge?

Por la gracia de Dios hemos sido hechos hijos de Dios en una nueva creación en Cristo, creados para buenas obras en el tiempo presente.
Y él os dio vida a vosotros, cuando estabais muertos en vuestros delitos y pecados, 2 en los cuales anduvisteis en otro tiempo, siguiendo la corriente de este mundo, conforme al príncipe de la potestad del aire, el espíritu que ahora opera en los hijos de desobediencia, 3 entre los cuales también todos nosotros vivimos en otro tiempo en los deseos de nuestra carne, haciendo la voluntad de la carne y de los pensamientos, y éramos por naturaleza hijos de ira, lo mismo que los demás. 4 Pero Dios, que es rico en misericordia, por su gran amor con que nos amó, 5 aun estando nosotros muertos en pecados, nos dio vida juntamente con Cristo (por gracia sois salvos), 6 y juntamente con él nos resucitó, y asimismo nos hizo sentar en los lugares celestiales con Cristo Jesús,
Efesios 2:1-6
Parte de las escrituras encontramos escrito que la paga del pecado es muerte, no hay término medio la palabra es clara y contundente. Pero el texto que hemos visto hoy, el apóstol Pablo enseña a los Efesios y conjuntamente a nosotros también que esa deuda del pecado ya está totalmente pagada por el sacrificio de Jesucristo en la cruz.
23 Porque la paga del pecado es muerte, mas la dádiva de Dios es vida eterna en Cristo Jesús Señor nuestro.
Romanos 6:23
Encontramos que el apóstol Pablo también dice que estábamos muertos en nuestros delitos y pecados, es probable que nunca nos hayamos dado cuenta de esto pero aún así la palabra nos enseña que esa era nuestra condición, lejos de Dios así como el hijo pródigo, pero así también como el padre del hijo pródigo no nos permite estar así para siempre. No tenemos que en el texto de Efesios leemos en el verso cuatro que dice: "pero Dios cierro comillas esto es algo contundente a nuestros oídos y Dios nos habla desde la misericordia y el amor que lo caracteriza, Dios nos ha dado vida juntamente con su hijo Jesucristo, así como resucitó a su hijo también nos ha resucitado a nosotros en una nueva vida en él, está vida para que hoy vivamos en esa por la eternidad, hemos sido resucitados y redimido del pecado una vez y para siempre.
Esta realidad que nos habla Pablo acerca de lo que ya hemos experimentado o O que algunas personas pueden experimentar, es una realidad que una vez vivida podemos contemplar todas las cosas diferente entendiendo que el pecado conduce a la muerte mientras que Jesucristo a la libertad gloriosa, podemos tomar la decisión de actuar de una manera diferente a la que actúa el mundo cuando estamos por la vida de Cristo, recordemos que el mismo señor dijo que el reino de Dios estaba cerca y no solamente hablaba del futuro sino que estaba hablando de una transformación presente, y eso se cumple desde el mismo momento que recibimos a Jesucristo como único y suficiente Salvador, cuando resucitamos para una nueva vida, cuándo nacemos de nuevo por gracia por medio de la fe.
Dios nos permite convertirnos en su maravillosa y más célebre obra maestra y todo lo mejor que Dios ha sido dispuesto hoy para que nosotros lo disfrutemos en esta vida presente y en la vida futura ¿aceptas el desafío?.
