When we pray 'Hallowed be Thy Name' big things happen. Jesus included us as children of God when He started the Lord's prayer with 'OUR Father.' When we don't pray we are quitting on God, but He never quits on us. The gospel calls us to die to self and enter a relationship with God and regular intense prayer is a big part of that relationship.
Pray radically to love radically. To love like Christ we must pray like Christ. To be like Christ we must pray like Christ. It is easy to get caught up in doing our own will instead of God's will and how do we know God's will if we don't have a prayer life?
God our Father is our good good Father. He is NOT our paramedic. Develop your prayer life now before you have an emergency in your life. Radical prayer means you know you have nothing to offer in your works, but by grace are reliant and saved, so it is we should pray to keep developing our relationship with God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Luke 11:1-4
1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a
certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples
said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also
taught his disciples.
2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our
Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven,
so in earth.
3 Give us day by day our daily bread.
4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every
one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into
temptation; but deliver us from evil.
Luke 11:9-13
9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given
you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall
be opened unto you.
10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that
seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall
be opened.
11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a
father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a
fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a
scorpion?
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good
gifts unto your children: how much more shall your
heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that
ask him?

I've realised a need to step up on my prayer life. The time is up and Jesus is soon coming back. I need to be firmly rooted in christ and that is all possible through consistent heartfelt prayers(radicle prayer)

Prayer is interesting and gives you direction always. It is us talking to God and Him talking back to us. It's a two way thing and not just a one way thing which a lot of person's mistaken it to be, in fact it is a precious relationship and should be guided jealously.
