hello @deathlyhorror contributing a little we can read:
9 For in him [Christ] dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, 10 and you are complete in him, who is the head of all principality and power. 11 In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made by hand, when you cast out the sinful body of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ; 12 buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him, by faith in the power of God that rises from the dead. 13 And to you, being dead in sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, he gave you life together with him, forgiving all our sins, 14 nullifying the decree that we had against us, which was contrary to us, removing it from half and nailing it to the cross, 15 and stripping the principals and the powers, public exposure, triumphing over them on the cross.
Colossians 2: 9-15
our gaze must remain in heaven ... by becoming followers and imitators of Jesus we become foreigners in the world and become heavenly citizens. Glory to God in the highest! Blessings.
'foreigners in the world and... heavenly citizens.'
Amen
So is my brother. the word says in 1 Peter 2:12
"Beloveds, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, that you abstain from fleshly desires that war against the soul" and in Philippians 3:20
"But our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also await the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ" does not affirm them. God is good.
