I was praying about this today, that my heart would want good and loving things, that my actions would be genuine and honest today, and that I would have the heart that is described here: thoughtful, reflective, considerate, and caring.
Great verse, particularly set against Matthew 15, where Jesus says out of the heart CAN come evil, so these verses together show us what will come if we do not "watch over our hearts".
Matthew 15:18,19
"18 But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander."
