I once watched the comparison of Hebrew and English bible, and got a confirmation that the translation was false on very particular points - especially concerning creating and relation to women, but the translation into English actually supported the submission of women through quite some centuries. And, considering the people who translated it we can't expect anything better. The Hebrew bible gave the impression the women were equal to men, and certainly not made out of a Adam's rib.
But does the creation you mention - putting the letter and the number together - mean that when internet was created for the mainstream public (the number and the letter together) - it was some sort of a new world creation?
