When taken out of context perhaps, but when studied indepth with knowledge of ancient writing styles, cultural practices and biases a lot less contradiction is found.
And you then develop the ability to accept something, even if you can't understand it.
It is all MYSTERIOUS. There is no reason to beat yourself up if you don't fully grasp a mystery. But keep trying! :)
