The Christian church and the challenges of Christmas

in #religion7 years ago

It all depends on the status that one belong, either on the Positive side “MEANINGFUL” Nor the Negative Side” MEANINGLESS” that could really bring one into the reality of life.

The moment you were born, happy to see a new world in nakedness yet you were happy because things were strange, looking up, seeing the cloud, the trees, the forest, hills, mountain, River, Wild animals and domestic , seeing the green pastures (all living and non living creatures) everything seems to be strange and bright.

So everything is been done by someone who is every dear to you (Parent) Mum or Dad, the only thing you could do or say on your own is to cry, smile and laugh, the only place you can easily locate as a little child is your mouth and the milk (you mothers breast).

So, thereafter during maturity one begin to face challenges of life were no one get it done for you, where you now have to go and look for what to eat, drink, cloth yourself the pictures of life is beginning to show its true self and at that time you will say to yourself, is this life? Is this what life is all about? And the obvious answer to this question is capital letter YES!

Finally, at last death will come and interrupt, putting an end to all you have suffered and invested for, without a minute of notification, neighbors, parent, well-wishers, and communities who were happy when you were born as a child become very sad to see the emptiness of life. “The meaningless of Life” Mrs. Benedict Rest in Peace.
Based on my reflection of Christmas, it is centered on the heart of individual, congregation, priest, pastors, Deacon, Bishop etc. Christmas is the awaiting of the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ, or on the other hand, the witness of the birth of our lord and savior.

Come and think of it; as a father “The Head of the Family” was leaving within a large community with a beautiful woman whom you loved so much looking very sparkling, honest, lovely, committed and kind just hoping to see her one day bringing your baby into the world “How excited are you going to be?”

Now, on the aspect of Christ, it is not just the birth, but with a woman who was a virgin and she said how can this be possible? But with a greater faith and believe it came to pass.

Having giving birth to Jesus Christ, he was so humble even to the point of death.
So quickly, let us take a look briefly on his miracle during his ministry, some of his miracle is as follows;

  1. Raising the death
  2. Healing the sick
  3. The deaf could hear
  4. The dumb could talk
  5. The blind could see
  6. Turning stone into bread
  7. Turning water into wine
  8. Feeding just five loaves of bread with two fishes with over five thousand people yet left over behind
  9. He walked on the red sea
  10. And lastly he died, buried and he resurrected himself on the third day, yet he was betrayed, nailed, certified and killed by the Jews and accompanied by his disciples.

Moreso, assuming Jesus Christ was born at this present era in 21st century with all the feature he portrayed on his ministry. What will you do for him? Will you be on the side that says “Crucify him, Crucify” or “I have no hand to prosecute this innocent young man”. What about if Jesus Christ happen to be your biological father? Will you watch the public to crucify him like an armed robber, what will you do?

This is a prophet whom has done so much to the world such as healing the sick, raising the dead with all sort of selfless miracles to save the peasant society. My question again is, “Where were those people during his prosecution? Were they all sleeping? Or do they all go to work? And none were ready to say no don’t do that he is the Messiah, the savior.

Who knows, maybe if Jesus Christ is still alive now I should have worked for him, and for him to teach me some of his miracle or maybe the world shouldn’t have been terrible as this with a lot of witches, hatred, killing, fornication, rap, lies etc.

Jesus's greatest miracle was to be able to be raised from the dead and then he rose into heaven again. He is alive and he left the holy spirit on earth so we can have his presence with us, even though he is in heaven now.

ohhhhh YESooo...... am alive, and am very proud to be with him always and forever!
