The answer is NOT 2.
The bible say that God created 2 kinds of animal.
- the one he hated, that was not pure.
2.the one he liked that he called pure.
And when God wanted to kill every living thing on this planet for something some humans had done, he told Noah to take 1 pair of each animal that he did not like..
and 7 pair of all the animals he liked.
So for most animals it was 14 of each, and only the one he hated it was 2.
The main reason most people and Christians think it is 2, is because they have never actually read the bible they believe in.
And for the same reason, most people who actually read the bible, will stop to believe in it.. ;)

It wasn't that he hated them, the ones which were prone to being "unclean" were not included. He knows all and forsaw issues with disease transmission and whether certain foods were healthy for humans. I have actually read the Bible, with an emphasis on prophetic points.
If you had read the bible, you would know that the one you call "unclean" was included, just like they was created by him.
And when he told Noah to take 1 pair of all the "unclean" animals, it was because they was included....
But since Christianity never agree with it self, you can still find hundreds of different bibles, so that religious people always will find at least one that have a phrases or two that fits them.
But every single one will say that it was one pair on the unclean animals, and 7 pair of the clean animals.
This is very early in every single bible, so dont be afraid that you have to read a lot of the bible if you want to look it up. ;)
Remember, in the Bible, the numeral 7 was used to represent completeness. Take that for what you will.
Thank you, i did not know that.
But i have noticed that the number 7 goes again and again.
Do you know where in the bible it said that 7 represented completeness?
