Today I would like to look at Matthew 5 verse 13
13)“You are like salt for the whole human race. But if salt loses its saltiness, there is no way to make it salty again. It has become worthless, so it is thrown out and people trample on it.
As Christians we must have a positive influence on the world, if we are just the same as everybody else, we are worthless to the Kingdom of God. We must not conform to the world, we must have a positive influence, like salt that gives taste to food and that prevent decay.

The world will not come to us, we must go out to
them; the salt must go outside the salt shaker. Light, set on top of the hill, cannot be hidden. Whether we are at home, in the workplace and elsewhere, let us live out our purpose. Be the salt and light of the world for the glory and honour of the Lord.
