Today I would like to look at 1 John 1 verse 7

7)But if we live in the light — just as He is in the light — then we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from every sin.

Only with the coming of Jesus to this earth we were truly cleansed from our sins. Salvation lies in Jesus Christ. Sin leads to death, but Jesus died for the sins of the entire world. When we believe in Him, His death becomes our death. We can thus know and accept that He has already paid the price of our sins, through His blood we are cleansed. Just as He stood up out of the grave, we can stand up to a new life in Him.
