Islam is the second largest religion with 1.57 billion followers, %23 of world's population. You might not believe in Quran but you have to know why it’s unbelievable. I will lift the burden from your shoulders to go through all the book. I'll give you enough evidence showing Muhammad made it up it by himself, for himself.
There are lots of verses (ayahs) that look normal but there are also absurd or scientifically wrong ones. Links are at the end.
1- An Obsolete Verse
Quran claims it's timeless and relevant all the time, not just for when Mohammad lived. Read the next ayah.
Ahzab 53
O you who have believed, do not enter the houses of the Prophet except when you are permitted for a meal, without awaiting its readiness. But when you are invited, then enter; and when you have eaten, disperse without seeking to remain for conversation. Indeed, that (behavior) was troubling the Prophet, and he is shy of (dismissing) you. But Allah is not shy of the truth. And when you ask (his wives) for something, ask them from behind a partition. That is purer for your hearts and their hearts. And it is not (conceivable or lawful) for you to harm the Messenger of Allah or to marry his wives after him, ever.
In short:
- Don’t come to my house uninvited
- If invited, you can eat but don’t stay for more
- I was shy but Allah is not shy so he’s telling this
- When you talk to my wives do it behind a partition
- Don’t marry my wives when I’m dead (you can marry other dead men's wives)
2- Muhammad didn’t know sperm was produced in testicles.
Testicles are not between our backbones and ribs.

So let man observe from what he was created. He was created from a fluid, ejected, emerging from between the backbone and the ribs.
3- Mathematical Error
This is the most obvious one. In Nisa 11 and 12 the book explains how to distribute inheritance but Allah made a mathematical mistake. In a scenario where the dead man has an alive mother, a father, a wife and three daughters he has to allocate %112,5 of his possessions.

Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females. But if there are (only) ||||daughters, two or more, for them is two thirds|||| of one's estate. And if there is only one, for her is half. And ||||for one's parents, to each one of them is a sixth|||| of his estate if he left children. But if he had no children and the parents (alone) inherit from him, then for his mother is one third. And if he had brothers [or sisters], for his mother is a sixth, after any bequest he [may have] made or debt. Your parents or your children - you know not which of them are nearest to you in benefit. (These shares are) an obligation (imposed) by Allah . Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.
And for you is half of what your wives leave if they have no child. But if they have a child, for you is one fourth of what they leave, after any bequest they (may have) made or debt. And ||||for the wives|||| is one fourth if you leave no child. But if you leave a child, then ||||for them is an eighth of|||| what you leave, after any bequest you (may have) made or debt. And if a man or woman leaves neither ascendants nor descendants but has a brother or a sister, then for each one of them is a sixth. But if they are more than two, they share a third, after any bequest which was made or debt, as long as there is no detriment (caused). (This is) an ordinance from Allah, and Allah is Knowing and Forbearing.
Girls get 2/3, mother 1/6, father 1/6, wife 1/8.
2/3 + 1/6 + 1/6 + 1/8 = 1,125
To combat this huge problem in allocation, since their next religious leader Umar muslims have been practising something called awal. They reduce the % of everyone’s share. Awal is still applied in countries where sharia law is in place (e.g. Iran).

4- Allah created many people for hell

We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind...
5- Muhammad replaced and changed verses (ayahs)
Believers think ayahs came via Gabriel and since then they're not changed/deformed. Muhammad changed some of them and it made his supporters uneasy. Against it he presented a verse which is the proof.
Nahl 101
And when we substitute a verse in place of a verse - and Allah is most knowing of what he sends down - they say, "You, (O Muhammad), are but an inventor (of lies)." But most of them do not know.
6- Allah praises himself in his book
And compares himself to other gods in Mecca.
Muminun 14
... So blessed is Allah, the best of creators.

There's enough evidence right there. I talk about these verses with my friends and family and I was able to make 4 people quit believing. No matter what they choose to believe I ask them to read the intellectuals I’ve mentioned in my previous post.
Younger generation is more tolerant when I challenge their beliefs. They don't like it but they don't cut my throat, either. But the situation in Turkey is still dire. %70 of people didn't participate in any kind of cultural activity in last year. Like theater, cinema or concert. Most people don't read anything other than Facebook posts, young or old. %90 of the people have access to a computer and internet but the TV still is the biggest time killer. European Reformation era happened because printing press was discovered and people could buy a bible. That shows the power of reading. Bible was the most printed and circulated book when printing press was first discovered. Before printing press, churches had only one bible which was hand written and only read by the priest. Churches in some rural areas had no bibles at all. People relied on priests. When people had a bible in their home they’ve discovered the priests were lying. After some hundreds of years of war society somehow renewed itself hence the great european scientists and intellectuals. Internet is the second printing press and there are thousands of philosophers sitting in front of their computers reading, questioning and getting better like you do.
I don't really like to get into talks on religion it's always such a sensitive subject. As a complete agnostic I personally view all religions as the source of all evil. They were all created to explain what science could not and over the years morphed into a way to control not just women but society as a whole and religion is used to excuse disgusting violations of human rights and terrotist behaviors. With the scientific knowledge we have now in this day and age this brainwashing simply should not happen. Having said that in my opinion everyone is entitled to their own choice. One thing I find very ignorant is one person other pushing their religious views on others. I'm a very spiritual person. I love my yoga and meditation and truly believe the world will be a better place when people start to look within and take responsibility for their own actions and life instead of blaming someoutward uncontrollable source for every ailment in their lives.
