The Evidence of the Truth of the Qur'an
Al-Qur'an, revealed by Allah SWT to Prophet Muhammad SAW verbally and gradually between the years 610 to 632 AD or for about 22 years, during which the human race, especially the people of Mecca and Medina still in darkness and illiteracy, has proved the truth of its revelation through its consistency and appropriateness to science and technology (science and technology) which humanity discovered in the distant past after Muhammad.
The examples below show evidence of the truth of the Qur'anic revelation revealed by Allah SWT to Prophet Muhammad without being denied.
- Byzantine victory.
Another fragment of the Qur'anic recounts of future events is found in the first verse of Surat ar Ruum, which refers to the Byzantine Empire, the eastern region of the Roman Empire. In these verses, it is mentioned that the Byzantine Empire has suffered great defeat, but will soon gain victory.
"Alif, Lam, Meme, have been defeated by the Romans, in the nearest land and they will be defeated after victory, in a few years (again), for Allah is the affair before and after (they win)." (Qur'an, 30: 1-4)
These verses were revealed around AD 620, almost seven years after the great Byzantine defeat of Christians at the hands of the Persians, when the Byzantines lost Jerusalem. Then it is narrated in this verse that the Byzantines in the near future will prevail. In fact, the Byzantines had suffered such a great defeat that it seemed impossible for him to defend his existence even if not to win again. Not only the Persians, but also the Avars, Slavs, and Lombards became a serious threat to the Byzantine Empire. The Avar nation had come to reach the boundary wall of Constantinople. The Byzantine Emperor, Heraclius, had ordered gold and silver in the church to be melted and used as money to finance the troops of war. Many governors rebelled against Emperor Heraclius and and the Empire was at the point of collapse. Mesopotamia, Cilicia, Syria, Palestine, Egypt and Armenia, originally controlled by the Byzantines, were invaded by the Persians. In short, everyone thought the Byzantine Empire would collapse. But just at that moment, the first verse of Surat Ar Ruum is revealed and announces that Byzantine will win in a few + years. This victory seemed so impossible that the Arab polytheists made this verse a mockery. They believe that the victory of the Qur'an will never come true.
About seven years after the first verse of Surat ar-Ruum was revealed, in December 627 AD, the decisive war between the Byzantine and Persian Empires took place in Nineveh. And this time, Byzantine troops were surprisingly defeated the Persian army. A few months later, the Persians had to make an appointment with the Byzantines, which required them to return the territory they took from Byzantium. Finally, the "victory of the Romans" announced by God in the Qur'an, miraculously became a reality.
Another miracle revealed in this verse is the announcement of a geographical fact that no one could find at that time.
In the third verse of Surat Ar Ruum, it was reported that Rome had been defeated in the lowest regions of the earth. The phrase "Adnal Ardli" in Arabic, defined as "close place" in many translations. But this is not the literal meaning of the sentence, but rather the interpretation of it. The word "Adna" in Arabic is derived from the word "Dani", which means "low" and "Ardl" meaning "earth". Therefore, the expression "Adnal Ardli" means "the lowest place on earth".
Most interestingly, the important stages of the war between the Byzantine and Persian Empires, when the Byzantines were defeated and lost Jerusalem, actually took place at the lowest point on earth. The intended area is the Dead Sea basin, located at the meeting point of the territory owned by Syria, Palestine and Jordan. "Dead Sea", located 395 meters below sea level, is the lowest area on earth.
This means that Byzantium is defeated at the very lowest part of the earth, exactly as it is put forward in this verse.
The most interesting point in this fact is that the height of the Dead Sea can only be measured by modern measurement techniques. Previously, it is impossible for anyone to know that this is the lowest area on the surface of the earth. However, in the Qur'an, this area is declared as the lowest point on earth. Thus, this provides evidence that the Qur'an is a divine revelation.
- Victory in Khaibar and Mecca.
Another miracle of the Qur'an is that it preaches a number of events that will occur in the future. The 27th verse of the letter of Al Fath, for example, gives the good news to those who believe that they will conquer Mecca, which was then occupied by the pagans:
"Verily, Allah will prove to His Messenger the truth of his dreams with the truth that you will surely enter the Grand Mosque, insha'Allah in safety, by shaving the head's hair and cutting it off, while you are not afraid. you did not know, and He gave before that a close victory. " (Qur'an, 48:27)
As we look closer, the verse seems to announce another victory that will take place before the victory of Mecca. Indeed, as mentioned in the verse, the believers first conquered Khaibar Fortress, which was under Jewish control, and then entered Mecca safely.
The preaching of future events is only one of the wisdom contained in the Qur'an. This is also a proof of the fact that the Qur'an is the word of Allah, whose knowledge is infinite.
- The discovery of Pharaoh's body.
"So on this day We saved your body (Fir'awn) so that you could be a lesson for those who come after you and indeed most of us are unaware of our signs." (Surah 10:92)
At the time the Qur'an was presented to humans by Prophet Muhammad, all the bodies of Pharaoh-Pharaoh thought to have anything to do with Exodus by modern humans are found in ancient tombs in the valley of kings (Wadi al Muluk) in Thebes, in opposite the Nile in Luxor City. At that time people did not know anything about the existence of the grave. It was not until the 19th century that people found it as the Qur'an said the body of Fir'aun Exodus survived. At this time the bodies of Pharaoh Exodus were kept in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo in the mummy room, and could be seen by the pilgrims. So essentially very different from the laughing legend that is attached to the Qur'an by the interpreter of the Gospel, R.P. Couroyer.
- Honey is a Drug.
"then eat from every fruit and walk the way of your Lord (for you) from the bellies of the bee out of the honey of varying colors, in which there is a cure for man. in that there is indeed a sign (the greatness of God) for those who reflect. " (Surah 16:69)
No one has denied that honey bees can be used as medicine for humans. In fact, the Qur'an was revealed in the 7th century AD, where people at that time, especially in the Arabian Peninsula, is still science-science blind.
- Animal milk, delicious drinks.
"And indeed, in the livestock there is a lesson for you: We give you to drink from what is in its stomach (in the form of) clean milk between the dung and the blood, which is easy to swallow for those who drink it." (Surah 16:66)
At that time there was not a human being in the Arabian Peninsula who thought that the milk of cattle could be drunk by humans, even healthy. Now, the milk of cattle has become a daily meal for humans who love it.
- Everything that lives on earth is created from water.
"And do the unbelievers not know that the heavens and the earth were both coherent, and We separated between them, And out of the water We made all things alive, and why have they not believed? (Sura 21:30)
When the verse is revealed, no one thinks that all that life is created from water. Now, no one expert denies that all that life is created from water. Water is the subject matter for the life of every living being.
- The phenomenon of pairing over everything.
The Qur'an repeatedly mentions the existence of a spouse in the vegetation realm, also calls the existence of a pair in a more general order, and with unspecified boundaries.
"Glory be to God who has created pairs all good from what the earth grows and from themselves and from what they do not know." (S 36:36)
We can make as many hypotheses as to the meaning of things that humans did not know in the time of the Prophet Muhammad. Matters that humans do not know of include a paired arrangement or function either in the smallest object or the greatest thing, either in an inanimate object or in a living thing. The important thing is to remember the thoughts described in the verse explicitly and to know that we find no contradiction with today's Science.
Although the notion of "couples" generally means men and women, or males and females, the phrase "as well as from what they do not know" in the above verse has a wider scope. Now, the scope of other meanings of the verse has been revealed. British scientist Paul Dirac, who claims that matter was created in pairs, was awarded the Nobel Prize in physics in 1933. This discovery, called "parité", states that matter mates with the opposite sex: anti-matter. Anti-matter has properties opposite to matter. For example, in contrast to matter, the electron anti-matter is positively charged, and the proton is negatively charged. This fact is expressed in a scientific source as follows:
"... every particle has an anti-particle with opposite charge ... and the uncertainty relationship tells us that pair creation and pair annihilation takes place in a vacuum at every moment, everywhere."
All this suggests that the iron element is not formed on Earth, but is carried by the meteors through the explosion of stars in space, and then "sent to earth", just as it is stated in the verse. It is clear that this fact could not have been known scientifically in the 7th century, when the Qur'an was revealed.
- Human incidence in the womb.
The eggs that have been fertilized in "Trompe" fall nesting in the Lower (cavite) Rahim (uterus). This is the so-called "nesting egg."
The Qur'an calls the uterus where the fruit of the egg is Rahim (Arram's plural).
"And We established in the womb what we willed until the appointed time." (Surah 22: 5)
The settling of the egg in the womb occurs due to the growth (villis) ie the extension of the egg that will suck from the uterine wall, a necessary substance for the growth of the egg, as the roots of plants enter the soil. This kind of growth strengthens the egg in the womb. Knowledge of this newly acquired humans in modern times.
This attachment is mentioned in the Qur'an 5 times. At first the first two verses of the letter 96 verse 2.
"Who created man from something inherent." (Sura 96: 2)
"Something inherent" is the Arabic word translation: 'alaq. This is the basic meaning. Another meaning is the "blood clot" which is often mentioned in the translation of the Qur'an. This is a mistake we have to correct. Humans never pass through the "blood clot" stage. There is another translation of 'alaq with "attachment" (adherence) which is also an inappropriate word. The basic meaning of "something inherent" fits perfectly with the invention of modern science.
The idea of "something inherent" is mentioned in 4 other verses which discuss sequence transformation from the "drop of sperm" stage to perfect.
"O mankind, if ye are in doubt concerning the resurrection (and blur) then (know) that We have made you from the earth, then from a drop of semen, then from a clot of blood, (then attached) then from a lump of perfect flesh and not perfect, that We may explain to you. " (Surah 22: 5)
"Then the semen We made a lump of blood (something inherent)." (Sura 23: 4)
"He created you and the ground, then from a drop of semen, after that and a clot of blood (something inherent)." (40:67)
"Was not he a drop of semen that was shed (into the womb), then the semen became a clot of blood (something inherent) then Allah created it and perfected it." (Surah 75: 37-38)
The "contained" place of diggity occurs, always mentioned in the Qur'an with a word which means the uterus.
And a few letters, the place is called "a solid place of residence." (letter 23 verse 13 which we have mentioned and letter 77, verse 21.18)
THE DEVELOPMENT OF EMBRIYO IN THE ROLE
The things mentioned by the Qur'an are in accordance with what man knows about the stages of embryo development and do not contain the things that modern Science can criticize.
After "something inherent," the words we have seen, the Qur'an says that the embryo passes through the stage: the flesh (like chewed meat), then the bone covered with meat (explained in other words meaning fresh meat ).
"Then we put the semen into a clot of blood, then a lump of the blood We made something attached and a lump of the meat We made the bones, then the bones were We wrap with the flesh, then we made him a creature that (other) shaped So Mahasucilah God, the best Creator. " (Surah 23:14)
The flesh (as it is chewed) is a translation of the Arabic word mudlghah; meat (like fresh meat) is a translation lahm Differences need to be underlined, embriyo at its inception is a visible object to the ordinary eye (without tools), in a certain stage rather than its development, as chewed flesh. The bone system, developed on the object in the so-called "mesenhyme." The already formed bone is wrapped with muscles, this is what is meant by "lahm."
In embryo development, there are several parts that arise, which are not proportional to the proportions that will become human later, while the other parts remain balanced.
Is not the meaning of the Arabic word "mukhallaq" meaning "formed in equal proportions" and used in verse 5 of the 22nd letter, is mentioned to indicate this phenomenon?
The Qur'an also mentions the emergence of senses and hearts (feelings, affidents).
"Then He perfected it and breathed into his body the spirit (creation) of Him, and He made for you hearing, sight and heart." (Sura 32: 9)
The Qur'an also mentions the formation of sex:
"And that He it is Who created the pairs of men and women, and the semen when it is emitted." (Surah 53: 45-46)
The formation of sex is also mentioned in the letter 35 verse 11 and the letter 75 verse 39.
All Qur'anic statements must be compared to modern Science's results; the correspondence between the two is very clear. But it is also very necessary to compare it with the general beliefs that circulated in the time of the Qur'an, so that we know that humans at that time did not have the conception as described by the Qur'an about certain problems. They can not interpret the Qur'an as we do now after the results of modern Science help us. In fact only in the nineteenth century, humans have a clear view of these things.
During medieval myth and baseless speculation is the source of many different doctrines, which persisted after the medieval ages. Many people do not know that the fundamental stage in the history of embryology is Harvey's statement on th. 1651 that: "All that life comes from eggs."
Also many people do not know that the embryo is formed little by little, partly by some. But when new science has gained the help of a new invention that is a microscope to investigate our problems, there are still many people who talk about the role of spermatozoide eggs. A naturalist, that is Buffon including ovist group (ie the group that embraces the theory of pengkotakan). Bonnet, one of the theorists, said that Eve's egg, the mother of the human kind, contained all the human kind of seeds, which were kept in the census, one in the other. Such hypotheses are still accepted by people in the eighteenth century.
More a thousand years before that time, where imaginary doctrines still got followers, humans had been given the Qur'an by God. The Qur'anic claims about human reproduction explain the basic things in simple terms that humans need centuries to find them.
- Characters of animals that live in groups.
"And the beasts that are on the earth and the birds that fly with their wings are but the people (also) as you are: We do not put anything in the Book, and then to their Lord, they are gathered together." (Surah 6:38)
Some things in the verse should we comment. First-tarna: the fate of animals after death needs to be mentioned. In this case it seems that the Qur'an does not contain any doctrine. Then the question of taqdir in general, which seems to be a problem here, can be understood as the absolute taqdir or relative taqdir, limited to the structure or functional organization that conditioned behavior. Animals react to various external facts according to certain conditions.
According to Blachere, an ancient commentator such as Al Razi argues that this verse only shows the instinctive acts done by animals to praise God.
Shaykh Baubekeur "Hamzah" (Sayid Abubakar Hamzah, a Moroccan cleric) in his commentary wrote: "The instinct that encourages creatures to group and reproduce, for a social life that requires that the work of each member be useful for the whole group."
The way animals have lived in the last few decades has been carefully studied and we become convinced of animal societies. It is clear that the results of collective work have convinced people of the necessity of community organization. But the discovery of organizational mechanisms of several new animals has occurred in recent times. The most widely investigated and known case is the bee case. The name Von Frisch attributed people to the investigation. In 1973 Von Frisch, Lorenz and Tinbergen were awarded the Nobel Prize for their investigation.
- Circulation of celestial bodies in its spinning line.
When referring to the sun and moon in the Qur'an, it is affirmed that each moves in a particular orbit or circle.
"It is He Who has created the night and the day, the sun and the moon, each of them circulating in the sphere." (Qur'an, 21:33)
It is mentioned in another verse that the sun is not silent, but moves within a certain circle:
"And the sun goes in its place, so the decree of the Mighty, the Knower." (Qur'an, 36:38)
The facts presented in this Qur'an have been discovered through astronomical observations in our day. According to calculations by astronomers, the sun moves at incredible speeds that reach 720 thousand km per hour toward the Vega star in a circle called Solar Apex. This means the sun moves about 17,280,000 kilometers a day. With the sun, all the planets and satellites in the solar system of gravity are also traveling this distance. Furthermore, all the stars in the universe are in a similarly planned movement.
The entire universe that is filled with trajectories and paths like this, is expressed in the Qur'an as follows:
"For heaven's sake having a walk." (Qur'an, 51: 7)
There are about 200 billion galaxies in the universe, each consisting of nearly 200 stars. Most of these stars have planets, and most of these planets have moons. All the heavenly bodies are moving in a very carefully calculated circulation line. For millions of years, each seemed to "swim" along its spin in perfect harmony and regularity with others. In addition, a number of comets also move along along the path of the set that is set for him.
The circular line in the universe is not only owned by celestial bodies. The galaxies run at incredible speeds in a calculated and planned circulation. During this movement, none of these celestial objects cut off another path, or collide with others. In fact, it has been observed that a number of galaxies cross each other without any of its parts touching one another.
It is certain that by the time the Qur'an is revealed, humans have neither today's telescopes nor advanced technology to observe the space span millions of kilometers, nor the knowledge of modern physics or astronomy. Therefore, it was not at all possible to say scientifically that space is "filled with trajectories and paths" as stated in the verse. However, it is openly declared to us in the Qur'an that was revealed at that time: because the Qur'an is the word of God.
- A cluster of stars or galaxies.
"Glory be to God who made in the heavens of the clusters of stars (galaxies) and He made also to him the sun and the luminous moon." (Surah 25:61)
In the universe there are billions of galaxies. Among the galaxies are:
- Milky Way Galaxy (our solar system is contained in it).
- The Magellan Galaxy (approximately 150,000 light-years away from the Milky Way).
- Andromeda Galaxy (farther away from Magellan, about 2,000,000 light-years away).
- False motion of the sun.
"The Lord keeps both the rising places of the sun and the Lord who preserves both his setting places." (Surah 55:17)
Two sunrise places and two sunsets are places and sunsets in summer and winter. The pseudo motion of the north-south sun causes certain seasons in a particular country.
- Planet in the nearest sky.
In a verse is the word "Kawakib" which according to modern knowledge can only be interpreted as "planet".
"We have adorned the sky which is nearest to the ornaments of the planets." (Surah 37: 6)
Qur'anic sentence: "The nearest sky" can be interpreted as the solar system? We know that there is none among the celestial objects closest to us other than the planet. The Sun is the only star in this system that uses the name. One can not understand, what kind of celestial bodies intended in the verse, if not the planet. It feels right if we translate "Kawakib" with "planet;" and this means that the Qur'an mentions the existence of "planets" according to modern definitions.
- The expansion of the universe.
In the Qur'an, which was revealed 14 centuries ago when astronomy is still underdeveloped, the expansion of the universe is illustrated as follows:
"And the heavens We build with power (We) and indeed We indeed extend it." (Qur'an, 51:47)
The word "heavens", as stated in this verse, is used in many places in the Qur'an with the meaning of outer space and the universe. Here again, the word is used with this meaning. In other words, in the Qur'an it is said that the universe "is expanding or expanding". And this is what the conclusions of today's science are.
Until the beginning of the twentieth century, the only view commonly believed in the world of science is that the universe is fixed and has existed from a long time without beginning. However, research, observations, and calculations performed with modern technology reveal that the universe actually has a beginning, and it is constantly "expanding".
At the beginning of the 20th century, Russian physicist Alexander Friedmann and Belgian cosmologist George Lemaitre calculated theoretically and found that the universe is constantly moving and expanding.
This fact is proven also by using observational data in 1929. When observing the sky with a telescope, Edwin Hubble, an American astronomer, discovered that the stars and galaxies kept moving away from each other. A universe, where everything keeps moving away from each other, means that the universe is constantly "expanding". Observations made in subsequent years reinforce the fact that the universe continues to expand. This fact is explained in the Qur'an when nobody knows it. This is because the Qur'an is the word of God, the Creator, and the regulator of the whole universe.
- The round shape of planet earth.
"He created the heavens and the earth with the true (purpose): He shut the night over the day and shut the day upon the night ..." (Qur'an, 39: 5)
In the Qur'an, the words used to describe the universe are very important. The Arabic word translated "cover" in the above verse is "takwir". In an Arabic dictionary, for example, it is used to describe the work of wrapping or closing something on top of another in a circle, as a turban is applied to the head.
The description mentioned in that verse about day and night closing each other contains precise information about the shape of the earth. This statement is only true if the earth is round. This means that in the Qur'an, which has been revealed in the 7th century, it has been hinted at the shape of a round planet earth.
But keep in mind that the science of astronomy at that time understand the earth differently. In those days, the earth was believed to be a flat field, and all scientific calculations and explanations were based on this belief. Instead, the verses of the Qur'an contain information that only we can understand in the last century. Since the Qur'an is the word of God, it is not surprising that the exact words are used in the verses when describing the universe. It seems impossible that God mentioned vulgarly that the earth's shape is unanimous, because this would be contrary to human conviction at that time. Furthermore, God tells people to think and understand all of his infinite creatures.
- The seas are not mixed with each other.
One of the many recently discovered oceanic properties is related to the Qur'anic verse as follows:
"He let the two oceans flow which they both meet, between them there is a limit that can not be exceeded by each ... From both came out pearls and marjan." (Qur'an, 55: 19-20,22)
The nature of the seas that meet each other, but not mixed with each other, has been discovered by marine experts recently. Due to the physical force called "surface tension", water from adjacent seas does not converge. Due to the difference in the period of time, the surface tension prevents the oceans from mixing with each other, as if there were a thin wall separating them. (Davis, Richard A., Jr. 1972, Principles of Oceanography, Don Mills, Ontario, Addison-Wesley Publishing, 92-93.)
Of the two, can be extracted a variety of natural wealth, especially pearls and marjan.
The interesting side of this is that at a time when humans have no knowledge of physics, surface tension, or oceanography, this is stated in the Qur'an.
Another phenomenon that we often get is that salt water of the ocean, with the water of great fresh rivers do not mix instantly. One thinks that the Qur'an speaks of the Euphrates and Tigris rivers that, after meeting in estuary, the two rivers form a sea of more than 150 km long, and called Syath al Arab. Inside the bay the influence of the tidal water gives rise to a useful phenomenon that the entry of fresh water into the soil ensures satisfactory irrigation. To understand the text of the verse, we must remember that the ocean is the Arabic word translation "Bahr" which means a large pool of water, so it can be used to denote a large ocean or river such as Nile, Tigris and Euphrates.
Two verses that contain the phenomenon are as follows:
"And He it is Who lets two seas flow (side by side): this fresh tastes fresh and the other salty again bitter, He made between the two walls and the boundary that prevents." (Surah 25:53)
"And it is not the same between two seas: this one is fresh tasty to drink, and this one is salty again bitter, and from each sea you can eat fresh meat and you can bring out jewels that you can wear." (Surah 35:12)
In addition to pointing out basic facts, the verses mention the riches expelled from fresh water and salt water ie fish and body decoration: gemstones and pearls. Regarding the phenomenon of not mixing the river water with seawater in the estuaries it is not specific to Tigris and Euphrat which are not mentioned in the verse although the commentators think that the two great rivers are intended. Large rivers pouring into the sea such as Missisippi and Yang Tse show the same privileges; the mixing of the two tigers did not happen instantly but took time.
- Darkness and waves on the ocean floor.
"Or as the darkness of the deep sea, which is overwhelmed by the waves, upon which the waves, over it, the clouds, the darkness overlapped, when he takes out his hand, he can not see it, he who has no light (hint) by Allah has no light. " (Qur'an, 24:40)
The general state of the deep ocean is described in a book called Oceans:
Darkness in the deep seas and oceans is found at depths of 200 meters or more. At this depth, there is hardly any light. Below the depth of 1000 meters, there is no light at all. (Elder, Danny; and John Pernetta, 1991, Oceans, London, Mitchell Beazley Publishers, 27)
Now, we have known about the general state of the oceans, the characteristics of the living things in them, the salinity, and the amount of water, the surface area and the depth. Submarines and specialized devices developed using modern technology, allow scientists to get this information.
Humans can not dive at depths below 40 meters without the aid of special equipment. They are unable to survive in the deep dark ocean, like at a depth of 200 meters. For this reason, scientists have only recently been able to find such detailed information about marine. However, the statement of "deep darkness in the deep ocean" was used in An Nuur's letter 1400 years ago. This is definitely one of the miracles of the Qur'an, because this information is expressed in the absence of a device that allows humans to dive in the depths of the oceans.
Moreover, the statement in verse 40 of the letter of An Nuur "Or as darkness in the deep ocean, which is overwhelmed by the waves, upon which the waves (above) are also clouds above them?" directing our attention to another miracle of the Qur'an.
Scientists have recently discovered the presence of waves on the ocean floor, which "occur at meetings between layers of seawater that have different densities or masses of species." This wave is called the internal waves include the waters in the depth of the ocean and oceans because at this depth sea water has a higher density than the water layer above it. Internal waves have properties like surface waves. These waves can break, just as surface waves. Internal waves can not be seen by the human eye, but their presence can be recognized by studying the temperature or changes in salt content in certain places. (Gross, M. Grant, 1993, Oceanography, a View of the Earth, 6. edition, Englewood Cliffs, Prentice-Hall Inc., s 205)
The statements in the Qur'an really correspond to the above explanation. Without research, one is only able to see waves at sea level. It is impossible for a person to observe the existence of internal waves on the seafloor. However, in An Nuur's letter, God directs our attention to the kind of waves found in the depths of the oceans. Indeed, the fact that these scientists have just discovered shows once more that the Qur'an is the Word of God.
- The benefits of fingerprint.
When it is said in the Qur'an that it is easy for God to revive humans after his death, a statement about human fingerprints is specifically emphasized:
"Do humans think that We will not collect (back) his bones? Yes, even We are able to compile (re) the tips of his fingers perfectly." (Qur'an, 75: 3-4)
The emphasis on fingerprints has a very special meaning. This is because everyone's fingerprint is unique to itself. Everyone who lives or has ever lived in this world has a unique and different set of fingerprints than anyone else.
That's why fingerprints are used as identity cards that are very important to their owners and used for this purpose all over the world.
What is important, however, is that the uniqueness of this fingerprint was not discovered until the end of the nineteenth century. Previously, people appreciated fingerprints as ordinary arches without any special meaning. But in the Qur'an, God refers to fingerprints, which have not attracted any attention at the time, and have turned our attention to the importance of fingerprints, which are only now capable of being understood today.
- Baby's gender.
Until recently, it was believed that the sex of the baby was determined by the mother's cells. Or at least, it is believed that this sex is determined jointly by male and female cells. But we are told different information in the Qur'an, which states that male or female sex is created "from semen when it is transmitted".
"It was he who created the pairs of men and women, from the sperm, when it was transmitted." (Qur'an, 53: 45-46)
Branches of evolving science such as genetics and molecular biology have scientifically justified the accuracy of the information provided by this Qur'an. It is now known that sex is determined by the sperm cells of the male body, and that women have no role in the process of determining this sex.
Chromosomes are a key element in the determination of sex. Two of the 46 chromosomes that determine the shape of a human are known as genital chromosomes. These two chromosomes are called "XY" in men, and "XX" in women. This naming is based on the shape of the chromosome that resembles the shape of these letters. The Y chromosome carries genes that encode male properties, while the X chromosome carries genes that encode female characteristics.
The formation of a new human begins with the cross-linking of one of these chromosomes, which in men and women are in pairs. In women, both parts of the sex cell, which divide into two during ovulation, carry the X chromosome. In contrast, a man's genital cells produce two different sperm cells, one containing the X chromosome, and the other containing the Y chromosome. If one egg is chromosomed X of this woman joins the sperm carrying the Y chromosome, then the baby to be born is male.
In other words, the sex of the baby is determined by which type of chromosome from the man who joins the female ovum.
None of this information can be known until the discovery of genetics in the 20th century. Even in many societies, it is believed that the sex of the baby is determined by the woman. This is why women are blamed when they give birth to a baby girl.
However, thirteen centuries before the discovery of human genes, the Qur'an has revealed information that abolishes this superstitious belief, and states that women are not the determinants of the sex of the baby, but the semen of the man.
- Man is created from a speck of sperm.
During sexual intercourse, 250 million sperm radiated from the male at one time. Sperm-sperm make a difficult 5-minute journey on the mother's body to the egg. Only a thousand of the 250 million sperm reach eggs. The egg, which is half the size of a grain of salt, will only allow one sperm to enter. That is, the human material is not all semen, but only a small part of it. This is explained in the Qur'an:
"Does man think he will be left unattended? Is not he just a speck of semen emitted?" (Qur'an, 75: 36-37)
As we have observed, the Qur'an tells us that man is not made of semen, but only a small part of it. That the special emphasis in this declaration announces a fact discovered by modern science is proof that the statement came from the Divine.
- Parts of the brain that control our motion.
"Behold, if he does not stop (do so) We will pull the top of his head, (that is) the crown of the ungodly deceit." (Qur'an, 96: 15-16)
The phrase "the head of the rejecter of disobedience" in the above verse is interesting. Research conducted in recent years reveals that the prefrontal part, which is in charge of regulating the special functions of the brain, lies in the front of the skull bone. Scientists have only been able to discover the functions of this passage over the last 60 years, while the Qur'an has mentioned it 1400 years ago. If we see the inside of the skull, at the front of the head, we will find the frontal area of the cerebrum (the big brain). The book Essentials of Anatomy and Physiology, which contains the latest research findings on the function of this section, states:
The drive and desire to plan and initiate movement takes place in the frontal front lobby, and the prefrontal section. This is the area of the association cortex ... (Seeley, Rod R.; Trent D. Stephens; and Philip Tate, 1996, Essentials of Anatomy & Physiology, 2. edition, St. Louis, Mosby-Year Book Inc., s. ; Noback, Charles R.; NL Strominger; and RJ Demarest, 1991, The Human Nervous System, Introduction and Review, 4. edition, Philadelphia, Lea & Febiger, 410-411)
The book also says:
In relation to his involvement in arousing encouragement, the prefrontal region is also believed to be a functional center for attacking behavior ... (Seeley, Rod R.; Trent D. Stephens and Philip Tate, 1996, Essentials of Anatomy & Physiology, 2. edition, St. Louis, Mosby-Year Book Inc., s 211)
Thus, the area of the cerebrum is also in charge of planning, encouraging, and initiating good and bad behavior, and being responsible for true words and lies.
It is clear that the phrase "the head of a rejecter of the lawless" really refers to the above explanation. Facts that only scientists have known for the past 60 years have been declared God in the Qur'an long ago.
- Breast milk in 2 years.
Breast milk is an incredible and unrivaled mixture of God's creation as the best food source for newborns, and as a substance that boosts immunity to disease. Even baby food made with today's technology can not replace this amazing food source.
Every day found a new benefit of breast milk for babies. One fact found in the science of breast milk is that breastfeeding babies for two years after birth is very useful.
God tells us this important information about 14 centuries ago, known only through recent science, in his verse "... wean it in two years ...".
"And We commanded men to do unto their two fathers, whose mother had conceived them in a state of weakness that multiplied, and weaned them in two years: thank Me and to your father two mothers, only unto me thee return." (Qur'an, 31:14)
- Reproduction of plants.
"Who hath made for you a stretch, and hath made for thee in the earth streets, and sendeth down from the sky of the water of rain, We cause to grow with rain water of varying kinds and plants." (Surah 20:53)
"And We have breathed the wind to marry (the vegetation) and We sent down rain from the sky, and We gave you water with water, and it is not you who keep it." (Surah 15:22)
"... And made to him (the earth) all the fruits in pairs ..." (Surat 13: 3)
We know that the "fruit" is the result of the reproduction process rather than the higher plants which have a complex and very complex organization (composition). The stage before becoming a fruit is a flower with male members (etamine) and females (ovules). This ovul after receiving "pollen" produces fruit, and the fruit after the matures produce seeds. Each fruit contains the meaning of male members and female members. This is what the above verse refers to.
But we must remember that in some trees, the fruit can be produced by unmarried flowers such as bananas, some kinds of ananas, tin (fique), oranges and grapes. The fruit is not derived from trees that have sex type.
The completion of reproduction occurs by the process of seed growth, after the opening of the outer cap (which may also be densely packed). The opening of the outer lid allows the removal of roots that will absorb food from the soil. The food is necessary for the slow growth of plants, which is to develop and produce new individuals.
A verse gives a signal to this hatchery.
"Verily God splits grains of herbs and seeds of fruits ..." (Surah 6:95)
- Animal reproduction.
"And that He it is Who created the partners of men and women, out of semen, when it is transmitted." (Surah 53: 45-46)
The above verse is generally accepted, not only for human reproduction, but also for animal reproduction. "Couples" are the same words we get in verses that speak of the reproduction of plants. Here about the kitchen affirmed. The most amazing detail is the precise description of the few drops of liquid (sperm) needed for reproduction.
- Penetrate the space and the depths of the earth.
The Qur'an gives a signal to humans to explore the Earth's space and abdomen that humans could not have done when this verse was revealed.
"O jinn and men, if ye are able to pierce through the heavens and the earth, then cross them, and ye can not penetrate them but with power." (Surah 55:33)
Man, with his intelligence and skill, has managed to land two apollo 11 crewmen onto the moon and create a space station, and many field miners into the belly of the earth to a depth of several kilometers.
