RE: The Greatest Picture Ever Drawn

The equation or theorem would need to indicate that 2 somehow equals 3 and why, otherwise,
E = mc2 could mean "Elijah is a number 2 on McDonald's menu".

As with basic math and even page code, it's verifiable. The only mathematically true-face-value example in my response was 2 + 2 = 4. To argue otherwise is to fail to be as smart as a fifth grader. Jeff Foxworthy might or might not concur.

In example one, 999,999,999 might seem face-value-true to people who like rhythm and/or repetition, or to Upanashadic Hindus who have 330 million gods (not just the one elephant god "ganesh" you show).

666 might seem face-value-true to people obsessed with misunderstanding the true meaning of the "Mark of the Beast", or otherwise enamored with the numeral 6.

If something is askew on Steemit.com or other web page you can check the page source and see if there are any syntax mistakes. So it is with Jesus and God. The Bible and it's scriptures are the "code", "syntax", and "theorem".

Simple empirical reasoning quickly eliminates examples 1 & 3 from being face-value-true, and identifies example 2 as obvious truth. When you actually know the scriptures you can quickly do the same with spiritual untruths. The Bible clearly excludes any other "messiah" other than Jesus himself.

"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." - Jesus @ John 14:6

"There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved." - Acts 4:12

That's the problem with "Gnostic" type personal interpretations. (i.e."No one speaks for God. God speaks to each of us individually, in the way we need to be spoken to.")
It's the reason behind;

2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness",

...and 2 Peter 1:20, 21 "Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture comes from the prophet’s own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever brought about through human initiative, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit."

...and 2 Corinthians 10:4, 5 "For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but powerful by God for overturning strongly entrenched things. For we are overturning reasoning's and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God; and we are bringing every thought into captivity to make it obedient to the Christ",

...as well as "I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought." - 1 Corinthians 1:10

To say: "All rules are false, each of you must find your own way back, but you can hold hands to get here" is to echo the first lie ever told in the universe...“Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” - Satan to Eve @ Genesis 3:1

The Bible makes it clear there were rules when mankind was made, there were rules when God organized Israel, Christ laid out the LAW of Love, and he appointed the Apostle Paul, literally face to face, and the other Apostles directly appointed by Christ, co-operated with him to set out rules for Christian congregations.

Granted, men have twisted things and abused power just as you show in your post. Nonetheless, Jesus squarely blamed the problem on men straying from the face-value "code" and inserting their own ideas in place of what God actually said.

"Because of your traditions you have destroyed the authority of God's word." - Jesus @ Matthew 15:6

"Jesus replied, “You are mistaken because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God." - Matthew 22:29

The "Code" or scriptures are complete and finished for our time period, and are all that True Christians need to exercise faith in Jesus and to eliminate falsehoods until the "New Scrolls" (or Rules) of Revelation are revealed.

"But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away." - 1 Corinthians 13:10.

One can not claim to be aligned with Jesus if they are homogenizing his teachings with diametrically opposed teachings.

"the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God. And I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot partake in the table of the Lord and the table of demons too. Are we trying to provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than He?" - 1 Corinthians 10:20-22
