The woman with the alabaster box did a timely offering to Jesus Christ. We should not wait till it almost late before we do something to the Lord.
Also if Peter had cautioned himself and prayed for the grace not to deny Jesus,perhaps he would have been saved but thank God he quickly ask for forgiveness
