I m new on steemit please help me friends to understand the details of steemit How it works when and how it gives payout.
And most important What is the benefit of resteem? Why most of the steemirs do resteem?
Please give me some tips. Its my luck to learn something from my seniors about steemit.
Well the first reason to reesteem should be bcs you like the post and want to share it wit others. Then when you resteem, comment or upvote you get entitled to a part of what that post brings up. The more people like it the higher the payment gets, the higher your cut be. If I am not mistaken your cut is calculated depending on your steempower. 1 SBD is worth approximately 1 dollar. You can choose to keep it there or to convert to steempower which will make your vote more important and your earnings higher. You can also choose it to convert to steem. Steem is the real thing which you can switch to your national currency on the exchanges. The worth of it depends on the value of steem. Now it's around 1,50 dollars. This can get more or les. With sbd you keep the value around 1 dollar. No matter the steemprice. thats my knowl dge about it. Hope it helped. One upvote from me to build up your power. :)

I am new to Steemit and want to Resteem but was scare to because I did not understand the consequences. I appreciate your response to the post. But I cannot seem to figure out how to resteem.
Next to reply you see an arrow ↪️, but the arrow up and with 90 degree corners :)) hit it and it will ask you if you are sure to resteem. Hit ok. Now you have resteemed it.

My understanding so far is that it works like Reddit and other social media platforms. It is also built on a blockchain (that I would have to do research on). And then while posts are made, reshared, and commented on, the value of the information posted increases (in monetary value). What's good and interesting is that people who upvotes (like the "Like" button on Facebook") and writes comments gets some sort of incentives as well.
